The Uppercross House Hotel

Located just outside the the city centre, you can get into Dublin with the LUAS tram in just a few minutes. Quiet and safe area. Tesco supermarket just across the street. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. Stable wifi. The hotel has its own pub (Mother Reilly's) which serves good food at reasonable prices. Some other reviewers complained about loud noise from the pub, but for my room on the ground floor I cannot confirm this and slept well. The rooms are neither very fancy nor very big but clean and have everything that you would need including an electric kettle and a hairdryer. Overall a very good experience. I definitly consider coming back when I'm in Dublin again.
