Good location, could need some renovation
Room was cozy, although rather small and equipment a bit dated. Staff was friendly and professional, quite reserved though. Food at the restaurant did not taste good, would not recommend. Best feature of the hotel is definitely the good location.

Comfortable stay with excellent breakfast
Excellent stay. My arrival was earlier than check-in time, but they kindly welcomed me. Room was clean and with good amenities. Wifi connection was easy and fast. Especially, breakfast was really nice with various meals even with affordable price. Location is convenient because close to Trinity College and walking distance to Temple Bar area, good for sightseeing and shopping.

Not worth the price
Not recommend! Shower was dirty and found some pubic hair as well. Mould around the shower and found old and used snacks in the drawer next to the bed. Very noisy area, with fire station located just next to the hotel and noise all day and night.

Incompetence itself
How is this a four-star hotel?? Nothing worked in the bathroom: clogged sink, clogged shower, water temperature control in the shower that wouldn't budge, and a fan that was so dirty that it blew a dust storm into our tiny room. An employee then brought us a fan that was EVEN dirtier. The window opened just about 5cm, making the very small room insufferably hot and uncomfortable even at night. When we told the receptionist about the broken water temp dial, she actually asked us, "Did you try turning it?" ???!! Later, we discovered that they charged our credit card TWICE for the same night! This hotel is just incompetence itself!!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr günstig. Das Zimmer war bei Anreise um 15.00 Uhr nicht verfügbar. Wir wurden immer wieder vertröstet und mussten schließlich eineinhalb Stunden warten. Das war sehr ärgerlich, da ich nur 3 Nächte gebucht hatte. Es gab zwar zur Entschädigung ein Frühstück gratis, das konnte uns leider nicht über die verlorene Zeit hinwegtrösten, zumal das Angebot nicht besonders war. Das Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen,war aber in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und nicht überall sauber.

Die Unterkunft ist für eine Städtereise sehr Zentral gelegen, fast schon Perfekt. Das Hotel ist im älteren Stil, sehr prunkvoll und Antik eingerichtet, jedoch war unser Zimmer sehr modern! Da das Hotel direkt in der Stadt liegt, hört man den Verkehr und nebenan ist gleich die Polizei und die Feuerwehr, sprich bei jedem Einsatz mit Martinshorn hört man es. Auch war das Hotel selber sehr Hellhörig, man hört jeden der im Gang ist, da aber auch die Tür einen 5 cm Spalt hatte, drang auch immer Flurlicht in das Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wie man es von Irland kennt. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht, jedoch denke ich, anhand der ständigen Gäste, dass dies auch gut gewesen war. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel gerne weiter und würde jedes Mal wieder hingehen!!

Die Lage des Hotels ist top. Allerdings wird in Dublin viel gebaut und wir hatten zusätzlich noch die Eisenbahn vor der Tür. Nachts ist es aber ruhig und wir sind Frühaufsteher. Das Personal ist freundlich und gibt sich sehr viel Mühe. Das Restaurant war in Ordnung ebenso die Bar.

Top Lage
Kleine Zimmer mit Teppich aber sehr gut gelegen. Zudem sind Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend und auch die Bar war sehr angenehm.

Our shower didn't work. No Kleenex despite asking for it. We were charged more than originally quoted. That said - the location is terrific. The hotel was quiet (except for the construction directly next door.) And the concierge desk was friendly.

The staff was wonderful. I was able to get a free to go cup of coffee in the morning. Downside thought - My key card stopped working twice in a 14 hour stay. The hotel wifi did not work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trinity City Hotel. The hotel was brilliant and the staff all welcoming and helpful: nothing was too much trouble. Food and drinks in the restaurant and bar were fantastic and breakfast was second to none. We would plan another trip to Dublin just to visit the hotel again. Thank you to everyone for a lovely stay.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. My shower had an issue that I report on the first day, and maintenance did not get there until the 3rd day when I was checking out. They actually didn't even work on the repair at all. I loved the location, and the lobby was pretty. The staff was overall good.

Had the look and ambiance of a much more expensive hotel. All the staff were lovely. The continental breakfast was absolutely worth every euro. The airport express bus and tour bus stop is literally on the other side of the road . I would stay again.

We spent 2 days in Dublin, everything was close by we enjoyed our walks for shopping and dinner. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are good, shower pressure was wonderful; beds are comfy but pillows were hard. 4.5 stars for sure and I would stay again.
