Overall the apartment itself was good but our stay was hampered by several unacceptable issues. The apartment was fairly nice and in a good location - walking distance to nearby hotspots.
However, we experienced several issues below. While the host communicated some of these issues (and some were likely resulting from building maintenance), it does not excuse the fact that they negatively impacted our stay.
The issues included:
- extended periods without both hot and cold water access (leaving us unable to flush toilets or shower)
- Multiple days without an operational elevator/lift, leaving us to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs carrying heavy bags
- Loud construction, drilling, and hammering noises early in the mornings from the floor directly below, which disrupted our sleep.
Outside of the above issues, the apartment itself was fine and the host was a good communicator, but these issues should have resulted in a partial refund and the host was unwillling to grant that request.
