Unfortunately the first room was a handicap room with an unusual bathroom setup. No usable counter space for toiletries, bathtub access for a handicap person? Room two had no bedside lamps for iPad usage, no working television!? Room three was fine, clean and comfortable. And guess no clocks are the new standard…

The computers were down when we arrived at the hotel. Zachary the front desk agent was very accommodating and offered us water or a snack while we waited. He gave me some wine on the house for the inconvenience. Our stay and the breakfast was great!

several food options close by. Room was comfortable, only issue was the bathroom exhaust fan sounds like a WWII B12 bomber!! terribly loud. Nice hotel would stay again when traveling this way.

I had reserved a room with 3 separate sleeping beds…got there and it was a 2 bed room. The toilet ran. The breakfast person wasn’t on time to work so we got no breakfast. Very very disappointed!

The condition of the property was medium. The biggest drawback in my stay was that the fire alarm went off just past midnight, and the receptionist asked to evacuate the hotel. Half an hour later, after the fire department left, we were asked to return to our rooms. I could not sleep again and left the hotel around 4am. I asked for a refund through Expedia, but the hotel declined. Fire alarm is not my fault, and i did not get the rest and sleep that i paid for. What a shame!

The individuals at the front desk were passionate about pleasing their customers. They always went above and beyond in making sure our stay was pleasant. An example would be; we’re out-of-state and visiting here in Des Moines, IA when we learned that the funeral was a few more days out. Unfortunately, this is Basketball championship weekend and all rooms would have been booked, but they allowed us to stay the extra time. Their house keeping was just as exceptional, and so was their free Breakfasts!

I only have two issues. As a 73 yr old with bad knees traveling alone, upon arrival I almost got stuck on the toilet because it was so super low (imagine pre-school size). Thank goodness I could grab the bathroom counter. They need additional handicap parking.

Great stay
I stay at a lot of hotels for work. I stay at this one often and hands down the team working here is the best. Always friendly. Always helpful. Part of me wants to tell no one because it will be harder to book my room but they deserve the recognition. By far the best team.

Quiet, cozy, accessible and accomodating; was able to sleep through the night without being disturbed. Room was on 4th floor. Breakfast was tasty not bland. Check-out is at 12 pm, and this facility allows guests to continue using their rooms until they check-out. Staff does not deactivate your key card @ 8am the following morning like Carrollton Inn does.
