„Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall ...

„Really good communication with Alex. The property was as stated in the description. We were a family of 7 adults so the living/eating space was a bit limited but we were out much of the time. A really quick walk into Buxton which is lovely“

„This large and very well presented B&B property is ideally situated to visit nearby Hardwick Hall and is just off the motorway. In a safe, rural location, it is purpose built and has plenty of safe easy parking. Our room was spacious well appointed, albeit somewhat functional and lacking decorative touches. The walls are very thin, so our loud neighbour kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate.“

Wir haben an einem Tag Chatsworth House besichtigt, ein tolles Anwesen und Drehort von "Stolz und Vorurteil", und am anderen einen Ausflug nach Eyam und Stanage Edge gemacht.“
