The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie. ...

„Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again.“

„We had a wonderful stay at this property for the weekend. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It turned quite cold the weekend we were there (goodbye summer), but we stayed plenty warm. There was a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside as well. After exploring the local area, we spent our evenings on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the bunnies and kangaroos in the paddock - so much serenity! Heather was an excellent host. „A beautiful old world cabin retreat! Perfect for a cosy and relaxing getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how many luxurious touches there were while in keeping with the original miners cottage it is. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking porridge for breakfast and a nice meal for lunch or dinner if you don’t want to venture out all the time. Really lovely views and great bush walking tracks.
