Aesthetically, the townhome was beautiful, but lacked function. For example, there was literally no place to put clothes in the 4th floor bedroom. There was no closet. There was no type of dresser. We literally had our suitcases on the floor. There was also no way to hang anything in the bathroom, like wet towels. There was also no way to independently control the temperature on each of the floors, each had to be set at identical temperatures. Consequently, one morning the temp in the 4th floor bedroom was 53 while the thermostat was set on 74. The only way to cut off the AC was to go down to the 2nd floor thermostat. This information was not communicated clearly and resulted in much discomfort. There were also not extra blankets or pillows. There was also an iron, but no ironing board.

I never leave a bad review but this experience was unacceptable

Im the kind of person that will not leave a bad regardless bet the way that the host handled our reservation was unacceptable. I use Vrbo for most of my trips and company housing. Our check in time was at 4 o’clock, but we had made a long drive after work and got in that evening. I could not find a code to get in. We usually get sent a code the day before or the morning of and there was not one. I spent a lot of time trying to contact the host both by phone and text message. Could not get in to and had to wait for a long time. Finally was able to get a hold of a person with Vrbo after several attempts of him trying to find our code to get in. We finally were able to get in.We walked into the rental that had not been cleaned with beds unmade and towels and shower floor and trash out. Again, tried to get a hold of the host. Mind you now it is very late with a very early morning competition. I them we were canceling due to their conditions. Had to go out and get a hotel.We did not stay there and had to relocate. We ended up paying a lot of money due to trying to get something in the same area at such a late notice.Tried to get a refund and was denied. Very disappointed in our host and VRBO for not handling this better.Cant believe they didn’t do the right thing by refunding our money. This was totally the host fault !

Nice location

Location was nice, however communication with the Polroperty manager was not great. I needed to change my dates, and i had to keep calling and texting to finally get them changed.. The house was not cleaned, dirty linen, hair everywhere.
