This is a private 2 bedroom, 1 bath newly renovated apartment above the host's garage at the top of beautiful Palmer Lake. The property is perched atop the hill, walking distance to town yet adjacent to Pike National Forest. Stay home to relax in nature and observe the local wildlife or easily pop into town for a bite!

Both bedrooms have queen beds, and there's also a queen-sized pullout couch to ideally fit groups of 4-6.

Enjoy ncredible views of the front range as well as the town of Monument and Colorado Springs below. Palmer Lake is beloved as a small mountain town, attracting its own tourism, and also serving as a great launching point for your next Colorado Springs vacation. The town offers just enough small businesses to suit your needs - ice cream shop, coffee shop, steak & wings pub, and other eateries. Recreationally, Palmer Lake is best for fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, biking, running, and hiking.

With that mountain town vibe, we do have dirt roads which require 4WD in the winter months. We also occasionally have wildlife guests which mainly consists of deer, but we've also spotted raccoons, foxes, turkey, mountain lions and bears on the property.
