Fantastic getaway for large groups!We just returned from a weekend stay with a large group of friends and family, and we had an absolute blast! This property is the perfect setup for big gatherings. Having the grand lodge as a central hub for cooking and hanging out, while everyone had their own private space in the eight beautiful studio cabins, made the trip both fun and comfortable.The amenities were a huge hit—we spent plenty of time enjoying the pool (cue sports) and hot tub, and there is outdoor kitchen and bar area. The grounds are beautiful and secluded, offering plenty of space for the kids to play and for the adults to relax and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.Everything was well-maintained and the layout worked perfectly for our group. If you are looking for a place that combines a "summer camp" vibe with great facilities and privacy, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family celebrated our Mother’s 81st birthday at this fabulous place. The pictures posted don’t give justice to the beauty and peacefulness that we encountered. We collectively decided that we will be trying to be sure we make this a family tradition to come back yearly.

Great space for large groups

A large main lodge and eight separate sleeping cabins (in paired duplexes) - this was great for giving everyone their own private space, and not having noise from the main house reach the sleeping spaces. This is out from the small town, and down a gravel road, so it feels nicely secluded. Great cooking spaces indoor and out, and space to gather in the lodge.The main drawbacks:- the cabins are up a fairly steep hill that wasn’t clear in the listing, so the far ones get extra steps in.- the technology is old, so bring vga to connect to a projector and audio cables to connect to the stereo.- the cabin floors are noisy, so you might wake up partners who aren’t on the same schedule.Overall a good amount of space kept well maintained, with some cute bunnies and turkeys to watch over your stay.

Great for large groups

Was perfect for our large group of girlfriends, we celebrated 50 years of getting together. The space was fantastic for the 36 of us ladies and the duplexes were perfect, large and comfortable. The kichen in the lodge was very well equiped with everything you need to prepare meals. We ha a great time! The pool was also wondeful.

Perfect place for a retreat

Our church group stayed here for 3 nights with 40 people for a spiritual retreat. Wonderful location, property was clean upon arriving, everything needed for cooking was provided. The cabins being separated from the main lodge was great for privacy and peaceful sleep. Drew the on-site caretaker was super responsive and helpful.

Awesome Place!

I had the BEST time at this property celebrating my 30th birthday with 25 guests! The property was PERFECT for a large group and the attendant on site was so lovely! Everything was clean, bigger than expected, and easy to navigate. We will absolutely be back!

Glamping + Family Reunion = Huntley Lodge

For years we have been trying to find that perfect place to host our annual family reunion. Camping just wasn't an option anymore with aging grandparents and very young grandchildren. Thankfully we found Huntley Lodge! Not only does it have a centralized gathering place with huge lodge, outdoor kitchen, pool, hot tub, patio, playground, grass lawn, but it also has private cabins that are very well kept and spacious. It is an absolutely ideal location for any group gathering, family or not. And, the onsite caretakers are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. What a treat to find Huntley Lodge.

Perfect extended family getaway!

My family stayed at Huntley Lodge to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and we all had an amazing time! The property is beautiful, quiet and private, and is well maintained. The kids enjoyed the indoor games as well as the pool, hot tub, playground, and extensive outdoor space! The outdoor kitchen was perfect for the summer weather, as was the outdoor dining space. Everyone enjoyed gathering in the lodge at night, and the cabin duplexes were well stocked and provided plenty of comfortable sleeping space for everyone. We appreciated how friendly and attentive the caretaker, Drew, was to our group. Multiple family members commented that this was their favorite family reunion that we’ve ever had!

Amazing Lodge & Experience

This place is amazing! The cabins are well kept and spacious and the main lodge has so much to offer! Our group truly enjoyed the entire property and our overall experience. Great for very small wedding

Such a great property, very friendly on site caretakers, fully stocked kitchen! It was such a great place for our tiny wedding (35 people). Cabins were clean and warm. The only things I would mention that was frustrating was trying to get late check out. I asked 3 times, the first two were too early and then I never heard back on the 3rd attempt. I also want to bring up the cultural appropriation of the indigenous culture and Chinese culture ( 2 Chinese dragons on windowsill) seemed inappropriate, unless you are a indigenous owned company. Maybe consider renaming the “Indian” cabin and updating the decor.

Wonderful retreat location!

40 of us gathered here for a church weekend retreat and it was perfect! We were able to have different dorms for guys and girls, the outdoor kitchen was amazing to cook for big groups in and well stocked, there was plenty of parking, and the on-site staff were super helpful. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful spot for our casual wedding

We viewed the property once and knew it was what we were looking for. There is a main lodge for hanging out with a large outdoor entertaining area. There is also 4 cabins with 2 rooms each. All rooms can EASILY sleep 4. It was important for us to have the extra space as the majority of our party was from out of town. The on-site caretakers were amazing at being quick and helpful when needed and then staying at a distance when not. We never even knew they were there until we needed them. (We needed them to unlock a shed for additional chairs, chop and deliver firewood, and locate a corkscrew for wine bottles). Property had a ton of activities for the little ones and plenty of places to drink and have fun for the big ones. Kitchens were perfect. Spaces all had instructions to navigate. If you are on the fence, just book it. We will be back. -Ryan & Mack Council.

Everything and then some

The facilities were above and beyond, every possible need we had was either with a solution onsite or really resolved via the onsite caretakers. Comfortable main lodge with all the touches necessary to have a great time hanging out together. The sleeping lodges were a step above as well, comfortable sheets and pillows to great water pressure and HOT water for as long as you needed. Come, the grounds and buildings will not disappoint, the hosts make everything a breeze.

This property was lovely for the outdoor space. There are several tables with umbrellas and plenty of seating. The kitchen facility inside and out had everything we needed. In fact they have a little too much and the clutter is taking over. Inside the lodge has lounge space as well as a large table. The cabins were clean and roomy with space inside and out for each family. Just know they are a hike from the lodge. In the winter things would be good but there is NO air conditioning. No place to cool off. Noxious weeds are overtaking the planters and pool area. The pool was cloudy which is concerning. It was too hot to get into the hot tub but it looked good. The guest information was very generic and we were told at checkout that much doesn't apply to this location. Not as many restrictions as the paperwork indicated. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We were surprised as guests to be awakened at 8am by their noisy 4 wheelers. But any request as cheerfully and quickly handled along with great follow up.

Lovely Weekend in the Woods at Huntley Lodge

We loved gathering at this place for our company retreat. We wanted a place for our small family owned business to come together for 1/2 business meetings while the kiddos played in the pool and around the complex. It's perfect with 8 separate units in 4 duplexes with no shared walls and a large lodge for the entire crew to get together in. Loved every minute of it and will return again for sure.

3 nights is not long enough!

Our experience at the Huntley Lodge was amazing!! Besides being in the beauty of nature, and getting to see deer roaming, and bunnies hopping, the set up and amenities were more than we anticipated and beyond our expectations. The outdoor kitchen was wonderful for cooking and prepping food, and the large patio area was where we ate all of our meals. The lodge provides a place to gather together and play games or sit around and visit while the kids play pool upstairs. The cabins are spacious and clean, and each having its own bathroom was super nice for privacy. Drew, the on-site caretaker was awesome to talk with and very knowledgeable. He was attentive to check in with us in the mornings, and was only a phone call away if we needed anything during the day. We will definitely re-book here, as 3 nights was not long enough! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful property with us!
