Unfortunately I had to leave this hotel and get refunded, due to the room lack of cleanliness. The bed was cover in stains and the sheets were dirty and had all type of stains possibly blood or any other substance. Staff was nice but unfortunately this should’ve been taken care of before anyone was given the room

To start the lady at the front desk was very nice while checking us in. The room itself was clean and had what we needed. The area was pretty quiet, I heard very little outside noise at all.

The building and properties were OK. The room suite was OK or acceptable as well. No ice machines or vending ice machines at all. Ice cube tray in fridge but would have had to wait hours before enjoying a cool relaxing drink after driving 12 hours. The room cleanliness was less than acceptable. We needed to wipe office chair, table, lamps etc. Elevator full of fingermarks, tracks at bottom of elevator haven't washed or vaccummed in very many days. Unable to enter from side entrance as key card pad broken or disabled. Needed to go to adjacent gas station to purchase a bag of ice.

"Extended Stay America: Retro Charm & Convenience" Check-in was a breeze, and our room was squeaky clean thanks to the ninja housekeeper. Though a tad vintage, the shower was a dream. Nearby Speedway, Chick-fil-A and Krogers were lifesavers, with Walmart just 7 minutes away. Perfect for our riverfront adventure, and easy access to 71 North and South. The only hiccup? The ancient carpet, it was so old I honestly couldn't describe what the original color was, currently its a deep mauve brown (lol), so we tip-toed like pros on it with house shoes and socks. Overall, a gem for budget-savvy travelers seeking convenience. In conclusion, Extended Stay America, you rocked our socks off (but we kept them on because of the carpet, haha)! Affordable, convenient, and with staff that could make even a rainy day feel sunny! Thanks for a clean and economical stay.

I never have had any issues with a hotel before this stay. I booked a double room months ago and then was told while checking in that that was not available and the only option was two singles near each other. The bathroom faucet was broke in one of the rooms and it reeked of marijuana. When telling the staff about the broken faucet, he said he would check it out and then proceeded to not communicate to us that he shut the water off in the bathroom entirely. Both rooms were very dirty and the table provided was 1lb away from collapsing. Would not recommend.

I asked to have the water drip with no water flow fixed in bathroom sink. Two of the staff wrote down my request. After the third night, I talked to a wonderful staff member in the morning that apologized for the issue and actually got it fixed. The first two staffers were useless and obviously not concerned about my well being.

I will say that the lady that checked us in was super nice and accommodating. However, the room? Was gross. Smelled like wet dog. Chair had mold and/or barf on it. Surfaces had dust, dirt, and hair. Sink backed up. Bed seemed clean but uncomfortable. Air conditioning was good but blew the drapes open. Carpet seemed like a animal pulled it up in parts. Just, CLEARLYthis place is not getting cleaned properly between guests. This was a one night stopover on our way to another destination, so we stayed. However, we had it booked for the way back as well and I canceled and re-booked a different hotel. It's not really acceptable. 6/10 rating that this hotel currently has is too high. Don't stay here.

Needs to be updated
Business trips. Stayed here because it was very close to my work. The hotel conditions was poor. Laminated floor was uneven, no hair dryer in the room, bedbugs and weird odor. Front desk staff was friendly but needs help on personal hygiene. I don’t think I will stay here again.

Extended Stay review-Cincinnati Road trip, 2023
Rented 2 rooms for 4-man road trip to the Cincy Open, August 2023 The Pros: $72 per room per night!!! Big parking lot. Near Chik Fil A and Skyline Chili, 15-20 minutes from the tennis center. Front desk greets you quickly (smile you are on camera), they seemed nice. Big room, full fridge/freezer, small kitchen. AC was good and not too loud. There were Cons: Lots of bugs. Killed dozens of small roaches on floors, walls and kitchen counter. Had trouble sleeping because I was worried a bug would crawl into my ear. Killed half a dozen the next day. Only “found” one medium size roach in the other room. I should have requested the exterminator discount. Floors were dirty and grimy, and floorboards populated with mature dust bunnies. Carpet was heavily stained, kept thinking the stains were moving but it could have been PTSD from the bug hunt. Rooms were non-smoking but sometimes smelled of cigarette smoke or burnt BBQ sauce/cigars? Kitchen table legs were hilariously crooked and unstable. No cooktop burners in one room. No hangers in the closet in both rooms. No shower curtain in one room. Very thin towels. Freezer unit in one room reminded me of the “Ice Age” episode from Love, Death and Robots (If you haven’t seen it…it’s a good one.) Did a bed bug check and under the beds we discovered… multiple key cards, plastic bags, women’s underwear, small change and Under the beds in the second room found an entire suitcase, pair of socks, and years of dirt and debris. You booked us in a handicap room which they didn’t have, and they were all booked up. The motel found us a cancellation room which was smaller and without all the perks but for the same price also you booked us for one night the motel has a two night policy for the weekend we never had this issue with your booking site before I’ll use other sites next time.

Never again
Had a reservation for months; or credit card was charged before we ever arrived. Upon arrival, we were informed there was no room in spite of our longstanding reservation. A refund was refused, stating we had to contact the website we booked through. When I contacted the website they confirmed that the charge had been made by the hotel itself. The website representative called the hotel who said the refund would be processed in 3-5 days.

Extended stay hotels need a change for the better
There is no grand enterance to the hotel like a regular hotel. The front door is located in the corner. Check in was easy. When we opened the door to our room there was a strong smell of incense or patchouli type of smell and it was smoldering, i wanted to go sleep out in my car but i made it through the night. The sheets felt sticky at the foot of the bed and the carpet was sticky feeling as well. There is zero counter space in the bathroom in the room we had, just a sink and a toilet, had to use the toilet seat cover as my counter. Before staying our second night, i asked if we could change rooms but we could not because it was sold out. They do not have housekeeping until after day 7 of stay so when we got back to our room it was as we left it. This was our second time staying at an extended stay and it will be our last. Corporate needs to make a new game plan because we felt uncomfortable through our weekend stay, only good thing was the price unfortunately.
