To access the building, we send you an email to give you, and your group, access to a simple key system using your phone. You walk up the stairs to the elevators, and take the elevator to the top floor, the 8th floor.
When you exit the elevator, you turn right and then left down the hallway to your home. When you enter the home, it opens to an open, spacious loft. There is a dining area, a kitchen, a living room, a half bathroom,and private patio for those staying on the first level. The private patio gives you a fresh feel and a cool cityscape view.
If you walk up to the 2nd floor, you will find a spacious loft with two full size beds, a huge closet, a full bathroom, and a half bathroom. This is truly a special place, and we look forward to making your stay a 5-star experience!

Printers Row is “pocket” neighborhood just minutes from the Chicago Loop. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, the area became the Midwest hub of the printing industry with historically significant buildings designed by legendary architects like Daniel Burnham, William Holabird and William Le Baron Jenney. Today, many of those historic buildings remain but the quiet, tree lined streets are now largely residential. Of course, it continues to be a draw for fans of Chicago architecture.
During the day, the neighborhood is an easy walk to offices in the Loop, off Michigan Avenue, or in LaSalle Street financial centers. After hours, the district is alive with restaurants, boutiques, book and antique stores.
It boasts famous blues clubs, eclectic music venues and neighborhood taverns where residents gather. It also has an annual book fair: The Printers Row Book Fair gathers authors, poets, speakers and, of course, books.
Printer`s Row is also walking distance to Chicago`s Museum Campus, with the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium, and the newly redesigned Soldier Field.

MID STAY CLEAN reminder For stays of 15+ days, mid-stay cleaning is REQUIRED at $90-$140. We`ll communicate this after booking to schedule accordingly.

Unresponsive Guest In some cases, if a guest does not respond within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. For same-day bookings, this timeframe is up to 2 hours or less. For all other bookings, this timeframe is up to 8 hours. This ensures that we can provide the best experience and availability for all our guests.
Online Check-In & Rental Agreement Required Before receiving check-in instructions, all primary guests must complete our online check-in form and review/sign our rental agreement. This helps verify guest details and ensures a smooth, secure arrival.
EXTRA GUEST CHARGE The base price covers 4 guests. For more than 4 guests, there is an extra guest fee of $10 per guest for the full number of nights. Example: 1 extra guest for a 5-night stay = $10 × 5 nights = $50.
Refundable Security Deposit: A $300 refundable security deposit is required and will be `held` or `authorized` (not `charged`) by Chicago Hospitality Club on your card. Quiet, comfy home away from home!
We went to Chicago for baseball and sightseeing, 4 nights. This place was everything it was represented to be—spacious, very comfortable and well furnished. The location is close to the L and bus lines which made it very convenient for us to get around. Owners checked in with us periodically during our stay and were highly responsive before, during and after the trip. We would definitely return here on a next trip.

Fantastic location!
Not having stayed in a downtown loft before, I did have to really follow the directions provided closely in order to get in the unit. It's a bit complicated at first because you use an app for the key which I've not done before, but figured it out with the help of my teens. I found a parking garage less than a block away through another app on a suggestion from the manager which was very convenient.
The location cannot be beat. There are so many great places to eat as well as a jazz club within a block and there was never a reason to move our car until we left the city. We walked to Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, and the Art Institute easily. Grant Park is very close as is Millennial and the people watching was terrific in both.
I had a few minor issues that I needed to discuss with the property manager, but they were responsive and helpful. The building is older and has a lot of character which I love and the rooftop area was a great place to have pastries and coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay at the property again for the unbeatable location and ability to spread out in the space with my family and avoid cramped hotel rooms. Also, the pizza from ROOTS, around the corner is fantastic!

Great Location
The place is located in an amazing part of town. Problem is the actual space. Not that it's not good, but it needs upgrades in appearance. From the carpets to the linens, they seem very outdated. There was a ceiling shade that was broken. This location is phenomenally located but staying in the location you have to deal with hearing the plumbing all day and night. I literally heard the liquids flowing through the pipes all night long. During a shower the water turn off on it's own for like 10min. At that point i received a message from the owners through VRBO if everything was going well if there was anything I needed or they could help with. I communicated this issue to them and never got a response. I finally got a message only with my checkout proceedures and no response about the plumbing. I think the location is great and if you can look past the small superficial stuff it's a fantastic stay.

Great Location, Disappointing property.
Unfortunately we were unable to get an early check in, not a big problem as this was not guaranteed. Upon entering the apartment the heat was stifling. The air conditioning was not working, but a portable unit was provided.
“ We're sorry, we're fixing some issues in the unit: the kitchen sink and faucet have leaks, the upstairs toilet not flushing, AC issue and the shower curtain rod fell out of the wall. Our maintenance team is on it, and we'll keep you updated.
Regarding the AC issue, we've provided portable AC and 3 fans to help alleviate any discomfort.
Please turn off the thermostats, turn on the portable AC, and set it to high. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
After a day/sweaty night of pondering what action to take, we decided that the location was more important. So no further correspondence.
Eventually after a couple of days, and cooler temperatures outside the apartment became more comfortable temperature wise. The constantly running A/C did mean that it was difficult to hold a conversation over the noise and the TV needed to be loud.
The lighting is not great, with an individual switch for all the living area lights… running from plug sockets. Does not seem normal. Overall there are good and bad points for this accommodation. The big plus is the area it’s in and there was probably not a cheaper (although not cheap) place in this area, with good food places and close proximity to most things. If the little issues/details were all fixed this would be a great place.
