Anthony hosted my family and me for Mother’s Day. He was very responsive. As soon as I sent a message, he replied. The apartment didn’t have an iron. I messaged Anthony and within 30 minutes, we had an iron. The apartment is beautiful and it was quiet at night. There’s shopping and restaurants around it. Very safe! I highly recommend this listing. I’m definitely rebooking on my next trip to Chicago.

Very clean and quite a convenient location. Generally rapid communication with the property manager. One challenge was my family arriving and the unit being too cold. It took a while to get the HVAC worked out for our unit, as the heating/cooling is set centrally for the entire building and there’s not a lot we could do about it.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was very secure with nice views. Communication with the host was timely and helpful when we had questions. We really liked the feel of the neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

Well decorated, modern apartment in a contemporary fun building full of extras -large gym with good equipment, lounge room, even a large office work space for anyone to use. Great location, close to everything, Whole Foods and restaurants around the corner, in a very safe and nice neighborhood. Very comfortable beds, good linens, loved all the extras - good coffee, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. Great experience with ENVITAE - very responsive on any questions we had. Highly recommend!

This place has potential but I wouldn’t recommend it. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has the basics, and communication was initially good, but the cleanliness and upkeep of the property was lacking for the price point. The blinds in the common area were broken, there were stains on some of the sheets and washcloths, and there was a lot of hair and dust in 2 of 3 the bathrooms. We raised this issue immediately and they offered to send someone over to clean again, but we declined. We chose to clean ourselves instead of risk them doing a subpar job again. When we asked for a refund of the cleaning fee, they offered late checkout, which we also declined because we had an early flight. They elevated the refund request to the manager who I heard from once before they ghosted me and stopped responding. Word of advice to the company running things: if renting properties is your business, you need to stop cutting corners and be willing to invest in ensuring a quality experience for your customers.

I have booked on VRBO multiple times, but never ran into so many issues related to communication. I was receiving communications on the VRBO app from the host and others on emails and texts. After receiving VRBO confirmation, I had to submit a deposit to Envitae who then required a picture of my license, a selfie, and email addresses of all guests to confirm. When asking about parking, I would receive mixed information. Instructions to access parking garage were unclear and did not state we needed to download an app. We only learned this at 11:30 PM when trying to park and had to call the host. Even then, we were not told to download an app. While on the phone, I received an email from an unknown contact on downloading an app. The host then said yes, download the app. The app was also not user friendly and I am a person who is very familiar and at ease with tech. Accessing the terrace with the firepit in the building was difficult and others staying in the building expressed the same frustrations. From a safety perspective, the windows in the apartment opened completely without any nets. This was extremely dangerous especially since we were on the 6th floor. I'm glad we did not have any children with us. The space itself had limited resources, no facial tissues, no condiments except oil, salt, pepper. This is something not required but based on prior stays at VRBO's and hotels, I expected at least facial tissues.
