Die saubersten Fenster ever!
Dieses Hotel ist ein echtes Schmuckstück. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Einrichtung hat Charme. Sehr schnelles Internet. Die Lage ist gut. Sichere Gegend und gute Erreichbarkeit der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Abzug gibt’s nur für das Frühstück und den Fernseher.

A bit remote and very loud, but cheap
Motel looks like coming directly from the 60tees. Nevertheless all was clean and reasonable for the price. But the noise was horrible. Air condition was stopped but still the fan was making a permanent noise. Road was near and windows/door were not really protective. So we could sleep with ear plugs only. Mats were very/too soft. Breakfast was more a joke, just some bagels and sweets, even no toast, and after 8:00 you could be lucky to get something - when empty then there is no refill. Location is a bit remote from downtown, you can park your car for free. But calculate nearly one hour to go to the centre. All in all we would not select this motel for a city trip again.

Uraltes Motel
Nettes Personal, aubere Zimmer. Da hört das Positive auch schon auf. Uraltes Motel. Da wurde wohl seit den 80ern nichts mehr gemacht! Keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Das geht ja heute gar nicht mehr. Extrem laut von der Straße her. An Schlaf ist kaum zu denken. Kein Aufzug. Nie mehr wieder!

Excellent old school motel. Dates to the 1950s but very well in terms of upkeep. Friendly staff, very nice and accommodating housekeeping. Towels are thin but they give you more happily. Basic but very safe and a good value. Walk to Alexander’s for an amazing diner experience! 3 easy blocks. Great stay overall.

The guy behind the counter was very rude, yelled a lot for not understanding him (he had a very hard to understand English accent) and couldn’t find my reservation. Kept saying it was under a different name when I had an email to prove it was under my name. I will never stay here again.

This motel was great for a one night stay in Chicago. It was super clean, and the man at the front desk was very nice! Free parking is also a HUGE plus. The biggest downside was the noise, the motel is located on a busy intersection, and the walls arent soundproof at all. As long as you dont mind traffic noise, this is an excellent choice for a short stay.

What’s up with people Peeping and Creeping
A weird experience where the hotel moved me from one room to another. They seemed very upset if you refused maid service.At times you felt like someone was peeping and creeping.. A very Norman Bates feel. I left because for the type of motel it is they were way too up for n your business. Creepy.

This property is very difficult to access if it is on the left side of the road as you approach it. With all of the crazy one-way streets surrounding it, it was challenging to find a way to get to it from the other direction. By the time we finally got there by holding up a line of honking cars while we made a U-turn, we were not in the best of moods, so our impressions were probably a bit jaded. It is a clean property that appears to have been freshly painted, but it is an old property. The furnishings are functional but dated--probably from the late '60's/early 70's. The room was very basic with no hair dryer or refrigerator, and the towels were small and thin. Internet was slow, but available. The beds were comfortable as was the temperature, and we got the impression that the owner takes care of the motel. Price was reasonable, considering its location. We had planned to stay four nights but checked out after the first night because it was farther away than we thought it would be from our son's place. That was our mistake, not the motel's. If you just need a clean place to stay, this fills the bill. Just remember that it is a budget motel, not the typical type of inn you will find along an expressway.

It's a no frills motel, but it's clean and the bed is comfortable. Free parking and near a bus line so you can't really complain.

Excellent customer service and clean facilities. Building is maintained well although it needs a more modern renovation. Nonetheless, you can tell the staff and contractors do an amazing service and work.

We were in need of a safe, clean spot to rest for night in Chicago that didn't break the bank. Looking around at other options, we saw rooms going for $300 and up, which was crazy for a bed and shower. Then we saw The Heart O' Chicago for a much more reasonable amount and took a chance. It exceeded all expectations. I would stay here again without question.
