Experience resort-style living with all of the comforts of home at Costa Balboa, a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo in beautiful Carlsbad, California.

This second floor condo with elevator access features a spacious & sunny floorplan, fully-equipped kitchen and a private balcony overlooking the condo's community pool and the La Costa Resort & Spa grounds. Underground reserved gated parking is serviced by an elevator providing guests step free access from parking to the condo.

Less than 15 minutes from both Carlsbad and Encinitas, guests can spend their days enjoying beaches, dining, shopping and all that San Diego has to offer.

We had a nice stay

The condo was very clean. The master bed was pretty comfortable. The kitchen is pretty small but ok for heating things up in the microwave and getting snacks. There was no creamer packets for the coffee, but plenty of sugar, which we dont use. The view overlooking the pool was nice. We couldnt get the t.v. to work, possibly due to dead remote batteries. A/C worked well in the living room, and if you get the tower fans going, you can get cooler air into the bedrooms for a nice temp! The master shower had issues. I knew about the height of trying to climb into it, before our arrival but didnt realize the width of the tub edge. It was almost impossible to get in and out of. Also, took a cold shower the first night cause navigationg the 4 temp handles was a bit of a learning curve. The condo was near to Legoland, which was our main purpose of going to Carlsbad. So all in all we had a great time with our granddaughters! Thank you!!

Clean property with a great location

Property was clean and met our needs. The bathtub/shower is hard to get into due to the high sides so it made it a little more challenging to bathe the little ones we had with us. We could have used a couple of extra bath towels as well.

Awsome!

Our daughter plays travel soccer, so we stay at places often. This is by far the best one we have stayed at. Amazing view. Amazing beds. We have never stayed at a place who left enough towels for 4 people, this one had enough and more cozy towels. The only thing i would say negative was the surfaces need to be cleaned better. The counter of all bathrooms and kitchen smelt of dirty towels. But i re-clean everything when i stay places anyways, so its not much of a deal after that. We will book this again when we stay in the area for sure. Thank you!

Some descriptions were less than accurate. TVs did not work well. Tub was extremely high and hard to enter. Kitchen was not well organized. Could not use microwave and toaster oven at the same time. Mattresses were very comfortable. Location was great.

Beautiful property

Everything we needed was provided, beds were comfy and view of pool, tennis courts was pleasant. Only issue was the tile build up around the tub made it impossible for aged mother to get in. Excellent for young family, not the best for elderly or disabled.

Great family vacation

We stayed as family of 4 and the apartment was perfect. The kids enjoyed the pool right next to the apartment house. The kitchen is equipped with basic tools and everything was on hand to make breakfast and a family dinner. A big plus were the very comfy memory foam mattresses. We slept very well. Community washer and dryer were available, unfortunately one of the washers were broken so only one washer for the whole block was available. It worked out but sometimes with some running back and forth. Communication with the property management worked great. We enjoyed our stay very much especially because it was a quieter place in a very summer crowed area.

What a perfect vacation!

This place is great
close to all resort amenities (access available for purchase) and close to I-5 so it makes visiting the zoo and theme parks very easy. Only 3.5 miles from Legoland. Great neighborhood with great dining options nearby. Can’t wait to come back!

.it’s a big step into the tub/shower. Laundry facility is in the underground garage but easy to use. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
