JJ's Retreat Studio Apartment is nestled in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from downtown Bryan. It's 4 miles to Texas A&M and to the Brazos County Expo Center as well.

This fully renovated garage studio apartment offers many extra comforts and conveniences:

- A white noise machine for the light sleeper that masks inside and outside disturbances
- The king size bed has a brand new cooling memory foam mattress from Zinus - a brand with 200,000 4+ star reviews on Amazon.
- The bed is dressed with high quality bedding - 100% cotton duvet and luxury Egyptian microfiber sheets.

The updated kitchen offers:

- quality dishware
- large coffee mugs (not the tiny white ones that come
in cheap sets)
- stemmed and stemless wine glasses (not plastic) as wine cannot be fully enjoyed while drinking from a plastic cup (though we do provide plastic for the cautious and/or clumsy)
- large bowls for the complimentary popcorn
- complimentary gourmet coffee from local favorite Polite Coffee Roasters
(plus sugar, Whole Earth monk fruit sugar substitute, and Half n Half) to start your morning off right

The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the necessary cookware for preparing meals. (Note: There is no dishwasher.)

The bathroom has been completely renovated and features a beautifully tiled walk-in shower.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
To maintain the quality environment of the home for you and future guests, we will only be accepting booking requests from:

- Renters who are age 25 and older.
- A maximum of 3 guests.

*PARTIES/EVENTS*
We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. In order to keep the home in excellent condition for you and future guests, we are firm on these rules. Thank you for understanding.

*** This is a NON-SMOKING facility. Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, cannabis) is NOT allowed inside the home. If our cleaning crew reports any signs of cigarettes or vaping (smell, ash, cigarette butts, etc.) in or around the home, an additional $300 cleaning fee will be incurred.***

*PETS:
1 dog (small-medium sized, no PUPPIES!) is allowed. Must be potty trained! Please ensure you indicate you are bringing a pet when you book your stay. An additional cleaning fee will be applied.

Dog rules:

1. Dog MUST be in a crate if left in the Studio Apartment unattended. Please do not allow your dog on the furniture.
2. Dog must be on a leash when leaving the property outside of the fenced in area.
3. Of course, clean up after your dog both inside the Studio Apartment, as well as in the yard.

***Note that there is no washer/dryer however, a laundromat is located just a few minutes away.***

Guest access
We will send a message with the key code for the smart door lock on the morning of your arrival.

The studio apartment, right side of the driveway, and separate, fenced right side yard are available to guests of JJ's Retreat Studio Apartment.

The Main house is NOT available to guests of JJ’s Retreat Studio Apartment as this is a separate rental space with its own entrance.

Other things to note:
There are so many things to see and do in Aggieland such as kayaking on Lake Bryan, shopping at the Brazos Valley Farmer's Market, touring a wild animal safari, strolling in downtown Bryan, or grabbing a bite to eat at a wide variety of restaurants. Midtown Park and Big Shots Golf are both minutes away.

Of course the most popular attraction is football games at Kyle field. But even if Aggie football isn't bringing you to town, the Century Tree, the Bonfire Memorial, and the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum are must see points of interest on the A&M campus.

***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the house is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) We also do not have a pack-and-play/portable crib, however, guests are welcome to bring their own.***
