Elegant. Relaxing. Quiet. Our Boulder Luxury Dream Cottage is a charming 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath oasis 3 blocks from Pearl St in the Historic Whittier neighborhood on Boulder's most famous residential street, Mapleton Avenue.

Enjoy stunning Flatiron views. Steps to the park, Whittier Playground, 4 blocks to Spruce Pool, 6 to Boulder Creek, 9 to Ideal Market, CU Boulder, and more.

The space
If you're looking for a peaceful, charming, and luxurious home in the heart of Boulder near Pearl St., you found it. You'll feel the bright, joyous energy as soon as you walk in.

Activities/Entertainment
It’s an easy 5-minute walk to Boulder's favorite cafes, live music, museums, galleries, restaurants, and shops on Pearl St. The Spruce Pool is only 4 blocks away. Ideal Market and Whole Foods are 9 blocks, as are CU Boulder and Folsom Field. Enjoy nearby open-space and mountain trails, parks, and tree-lined streets!

Swimming, climbing, cycling, boating, tennis, hiking, running, kayaking, tubing, rowing, shooting, dancing, fly fishing, paddle boarding, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, bowling, Valmont bike park, and Scott Carpenter skate park are only minutes away. Eldora Mountain Ski Resort is 20 miles up the mountain.

The House
Remodeled from top to bottom, the main level has a spacious open plan that merges living, dining, and kitchen.

The family room and kitchen open up to a large south-facing porch with stunning Flatiron views and includes vaulted ceilings, skylights, Italian marble countertops, two gas fireplaces, and white oak flooring plus a main-level home office and library.

Stay warm in the winter with central heating, and two gas fireplaces, and cool in the summer with Central A/C. In Spring and Autumn, turn on the whole house fan to enjoy the breeze.

We have small and large appliances (coffee maker, microwave, slow cooker, blender, etc), gas range/stovetop, fridge, washer and dryer, and a convector oven; Weber Genesis BBQ grill in the back.

We have created a hypoallergenic space with wood floors, excellent ventilation, and HEPA filtration that is constantly cleaning the air so that the house remains fresh and hygienic while eliminating allergens.

We also have loads of vibrant and thriving plants for clean air that creates a cozy, natural setting. For those with allergies, our dog will be with us when you rent the whole house.

Recycling, composting, and trash bins are available for sustainable waste management. Most of the light switches have dimmers so you can adjust the lighting according to your needs; most doors lock for greater privacy.

Bedrooms
Enjoy the charming primary suite and lounge with a queen-size bed and bath in the basement, 8.5' ceilings, brick floors, and a spacious lounge with a gas fireplace, custom closet, television, and wine storage.

The two upper-level bedrooms have king-size beds and plenty of sunshine with original character while boasting excellent views of Boulder's most famous mountains, the Flatirons.

The Gardens and 5 Patios
Step into the private garden where you'll find rows of lavender, an herb garden, and beautiful landscaping throughout. Have a layabout in the hand-crafted Mayan hammock and enjoy.

The backyard includes a large covered porch and deck with patio furniture and a Weber Genesis propane BBQ grill. Outdoor dining for up to eight under a covered patio area outside. There are two additional patio areas: a covered porch on the northwest side of the house and a flagstone patio with a table and benches in the front yard. You can also sit on the covered front porch and watch the world go by.

Internet - Extremely fast (975 Mbps)! We have high-speed fiber-optic wireless internet so that you can access all of your favorite movies or shows via your cable subscription: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Disney +, etc. The high speed makes it easy to hold Zoom meetings or online education classes even while others are watching or gaming. We do not have cable TV.

TV/Monitor - We have a 43’ TV/Monitor in the basement lounge area.

Beautiful getaway steps from Pearl Street

Matthew made this stay seamless, including ensuring we were all set with Boulder’s newly implemented guest parking process. The house is beautiful and made for a wonderful respite as well as close proximity to Pearl Street, Folsom Field and Boulder Creek Park. It was a short drive to Chataqua as well.

HIGHLY recommend this gem! My family and I made this our home base for exploring Colorado. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to Pearl Street, making it easy to explore all the shops and restaurants. The house was spotless and well-equipped with great amenities, including a relaxing hot tub. Best of all, the host was incredibly welcoming, with top-notch communication and recommendations throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Boulder!

Happy Home!

First of all, Matthew was so kind and helpful! The first thing I asked was if we could get inside the home early, bc our flight landed at 7am. Even though there was another party vacating that morning, they asked their cleaning company to send an extra person and we were able to get in by 12 noon!Matthew also let us know that the directions on Apple Maps were incorrect that they take you to the back alley of the property. Anyhoo, when we came in to the marvelously clean and cheery home, we were greeted with a lovely bouquet of daisys, white and red wine and chocolates! Mmmm! The layout of the home is great. It is 3 stories total. The ground floor has a sitting room, dining room, full bathroom, office, kitchen, pantry, laundry room and living room with a fireplace.Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with King size beds and one of them has a half bath.the 3rd bedroom is located downstairs in the basement area off of the 2nd living room or den with a tv and fireplace. The downstairs bedroom has a full bathroom with a large shower and seating area but no bathtub. There is a HUGE TUB IN THE GROUND FLOOR BATHROOM. (I apologize for any grammatical errors- I am typing blindly on my phone and the little box for a review doesn’t allow me to see past the first 5 lines. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to include coffee! All the bathrooms had tons of towels washcloths and toilet paper so we did not have to purchase any of that! Yaya worked hard to get the house cleaned fast

Perfect for Parent & Family Weekend

Our family of four had the most amazing stay at the Luxury Dream Cottage. From beginning to end Matthew’s communication was prompt and thorough. The location was close enough for one to walk everywhere and yet enough off the main streets as to be quiet. The property was incredibly clean and comfortable with ample seating so that sitting around as a group was possible. The sleep accommodations allowed for us to spread out and the bathrooms all had great water pressure and a full supply of hot water. We did not come close to utilizing the many amenities but hope to on a future stay. I must give a nod to the coffee and filters that were supplied. This gesture of hospitality allowed us to hit the ground fully charged and running our first day. To those of you reading this and considering a stay, book now. To Matthew I thank you for a wonderful stress-free weekend!

Perfect house for visiting your CU student

This is an amazing property. We stayed for 5 days with extended family to visit my daughter who is a grad student at CU. Our main driver for booking this property was the location as it is walkable to everything ( and around the corner from her apartment) but the place far exceeded my expectations. We particularly enjoyed the well outfitted kitchen and large dining room- perfect for family dinners. The place is well decorated, impeccably clean and filled with plants. The rooms are generous in size, large enough for everyone to gather. The hot tub was a big hit as well. There is great attention to detail including thoughtfully placed charging stations at the bedside tables and more towels than you could ever imagine using. Can’t wait to visit in warmer weather so we can enjoy then porch and garden.

We had a lovely weekend in Boulder with a group of friends in town for a wedding. The home is well appointed, very tasteful and charming. The location is ideal within walking distance of shopping and restaurants on Pearl Street. It was a remarkably cold weekend; the fireplace and hot tub were quite warming, welcoming and much appreciated. There are great outdoor spaces for those visiting in warmer times.

Can we just live here?!

This is a beautiful home in an ideal location to enjoy Boulder. Quiet and quaint tree-lined street within easy walking distance to cafes, shops, farmer’s market and street performers. A 5 minute drive to Mt. Sanitas trailhead (our favorite hike), and close to CU campus. The home feels spacious, light, open and clean inside, with tons of lush and cozy patios for enjoying a morning coffee or afternoon book with a glass of wine.

Comfortable cottage with a great location

We had a great stay at this luxury cottage. It is very clean and is exactly as pictured. The home is conveniently located to Pearl Street's many restaurants and bars. It is also a reasonable drive to Mile High Stadium and the FlatIron Mountains and Rocky Mountains National Park if you want to hike. The house was very clean, the kitchen is well supplied, and the outdoor patio space is cozy and private. The owner, Matthew, is helpful and quickly responds to any questions or concerns. Great place to stay in the Boulder area.
