We name the room "Cabin- No Windows" to be clear that the room has no windows and is great for sleeping. For some folks they are their favorite room as we are in the heart of the city, yet it is quiet and dark, which makes for great night sleep. For others such as yourself we have a majority of our rooms that are NOT the "Cabin-No Windows" style that may fit better with your needs. Please let us know if you have a preference in the future, or book a room with an Atrium or City view so we can better accommodate your preference.

Expedia has been able to change the translated room descriptions to describe the lack of windows in our Cabin Rooms. We have always put the "King Cabin - No Windows" on the information we provide on our website as well as third parties, however when Expedia translated it, it had not mentioned it in the name in other languages until last month. I'm sorry you did not like that room type. We find that many people in the past had liked the vintage VHS and DVD players in our rooms which is why we offer them.

We've noticed that the room descriptions we have in English do not always get translated accurately to other languages (such as German), but we have updated our profile with new pictures that hopefully make this more clear for future guests. I'm sorry you feel that way. I'd like to clear up a few items for other guests reading the review. We have brand new mattresses this year. Our front desk is staffed with at least 2 agents at all times and we have not noticed a wait time to check in longer than 5 minutes yet this year, I'm sorry if that was an issue for your arrival, we'd be happy to assist you if you arrive at a non-peak time if that is too long to wait. Alternately we do have lots of sitting area in the lobby if the issue is standing for too long. We did have an elevator out of order for a few days due to an unforeseen maintenance need, the company rushed us the part and fixed it as soon as they could. Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss your stay any further.

We are sorry to again have to explain this so publicly, but, as we mentioned on the phone and in person previously, we are unable to have you or the other guests you had staying with you in your room stay with us. We will continue to ask you to leave and/or cancel reservations when any other reservations are made by yourself, or other members of your group.

Our on-site restaurant has coffee and hot water available and the front desk staff is always able to warm something up in the microwave when requested, but I understand it is not the same convenience as having those items in the room.
