Lovely Lakefront Mountain View Cabin

Nestled on a gentle slope above Lake Sisson on 3.7 wooded acres, Bear Paw Cabin has recently been updated to accommodate guests seeking a private and beautiful getaway. While the property feels remote, the cabin is conveniently located 5 minutes from Blue Ridge, 15 from Ellijay, and a short drive, all on paved roads, to everything the area has to offer. On site, enjoy a tree-lined walk along the creek that spills into Lake Sisson. Relax by the lake, fish, grill out, sit by a fire.
The space
The cabin is best suited to accommodate a few friends or up to two couples. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality pots and pans, knives, dishes, etc.. The bedroom on the first floor has a king bed and an adjacent bathroom with shower. A utility area has a full-sized washer and dryer. Upstairs is the 2nd bedroom with queen bed with an adjacent bathroom with a large soaking tub. There is also a large lounging area and work space with a fully stocked coffee bar and French doors to a balcony that overlooks the lake. Every room in the cabin has an entry/exit door that goes to a private patio.
Guest access
Main and upper floors are available for guest use, the basement is closed to guests - storage and utility only.
Other things to note
There is a large fire pit area that is good for bonfires. Please use downed limbs and small stacks of cut logs in the woods, rather than split firewood, generally plenty of it around. There is a hose to the left of the basement doors, pull it down as close to the fire as possible and keep water turned on at the bib and off at the nozzle when burning. Use the rake stored by the water hose to rake dried leaves away from the pit prior to burning. Be safe, have fun, and douse before heading to bed.
