Boulder Bay cabin with views and lake access!

Escape in the heart of Boulder Bay with gorgeous views of the forest, mountains and boulders, and a very short walk to lake access and boulder bay park. Boulder Bay, the premier bay on Big Bear Lake with kayaking, picnicking, hiking, dining and shopping all within walking distance. Our cute updated cabin offers a large wrap around deck with propane BBQ, outdoor seating and dining areas and expansive views. (Propane available within walking distance at local store, tank provided but propane filling is guests responsibility as needed)

The cabin is well equipped with a full kitchen, living room with streaming and Apple TV, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

If you want to cook and prepare your own meals there is a full size refrigerator, stove top, oven and microwave as well as the basics for cooking and serving. There is an indoor and outdoor dining table both comfortable and with beautiful views.

Outside on the 3-sides wrap-around deck, there is Adirondack seating for 4 and the outdoor dining table. There is also a propane BBQ for your Q-ing enjoyment. (Propane available within walking distance at local store, tank provided but propane filling is guests responsibility as needed)

For Kayaking, there is a kayak rental business just across the street next to Boulder Bay Park.

For skiing, snow boarding and mountain biking, Snow Summit Ski Resort (with access to Bear Mountain) is only 4.3 miles away.

Don't want to drive? No problem, Big Bear Mountain Transit is free and picks up at Willow Landing & Blue Jay, only about 500 ft. away. (Check with Mountain Transit for operating times and schedules)

Ready to watch a movie? Relax in the living room with Spectrum basic cable and Apple TV for your streaming.

Big Bear Lake "Good Neighbor Policies" must be accepted and followed by all guests. Violations of these policies can include fines or eviction per city ordinance. Good Neighbor policies will need to be signed by the guest responsible for the stay. (signed at in-person check in)

Rules to Vacation by:

Do not exceed the occupancy limit of 4 people.

Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of occupants is 4 people including all adults and children.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite unless there are commercial trash bins at your property (condo).

Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are costly and severe consequences.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

This perfect cabin in Big Bear was the best place to stay during my family’s transition from selling our home to moving into our new one. We could not have asked for a more well appointed cabin. Beautiful views, great walks with our Australian Shepherd, and easy access to all that we needed and wanted. Brent, our host, made everything easily available to us. Thank you so much! Cozy House!

We are a family of 4, and 2 dogs. We found the house to be cozy and comfortable for our brief stay. The location was great, as it was just far enough out of town to be away from the crowds, but quick enough to get to the Village when you wanted to be there. The house had exactly 4 plates, and they were smaller than dinner plates. We were able to make do as we only cooked breakfast and a few simple dinners, but more plates would have been nice. The home has what appears to be a brand new dishwasher, but not enough dishes to warrant running it. The hot water heater wasn’t big enough to allow 4 people to shower consecutively. We have a hybrid electric vehicle, and it would have been nice to be able to plug it in at the property, but there was no outlet. In spite of those small issues, we would definitely book a return visit!

Relaxing getaway in Boulder Bay

0ur stay was perfect at the cabin. Brent made the check-in process easy. We spent our mornings on the expansive wrap-around deck. The property is near Boulder Bay park so it's a short and easy walk with the dog. We enjoyed nearby trails for morning hikes and restaurants in the village for dinner along with cooking steaks on the BBQ at the cabin one evening. The cabin was immaculate and the location is close to everything. We'll be back!

Relaxing Cozy Getaway

Brent, our host greeted us and made us feel right at home. The Cabin is remodeled to perfection. Everything you need is there. We loved the peace and quiet and coziness in every room. Our favorite amenity was the wrap around porch with the barbecue. The views are spectacular, especially with a cup of coffee sitting in the rocking chair. Our little dog loved chasing the squirrels. A short block is the lake with picturesque park for dog walking and meeting others. Yes, we loved the whole experience. We will be back.

Modern cabin with rustic charm

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4, plus 2 dogs. The entire home has lots of natural light, comfortable seating and all the basic amenities. All appliances and plumbing are in great working condition. The decor is fun and the huge stuffed bear looking over the living room was a family favorite! The telescope was fun to use each night and even during the day. The location is a short walk to Boulder Bay Park. Our dogs prefer grass to handle their business so we made many visits there during our stay. Overall, we were very satisfied with our recent visit to Big Bear.
