Chestertown,Md. is a 20 min.drive away and Rock Hall, Md. is also about a 20 minute drive. Chestertown has great shopping, farmers market on Saturday , festivals, dining, Chester River Packet River cruise, Chester River, Washington College founded in 1782.Sultana tall ship. It is a true step back in time when you visit Chestertown. Rock Hall , Md. is another small fun town to explore while visiting Betterton. Great restaurants on the Chesapeake Bay. There are fishing excursions and boating sunset cruises to enjoy in Rock Hall.
