We were staying in Pamplona in November at the beginning and end of a road-trip through the beautiful north of Spain. After our first stay, we immediately decided to book this hotel again for our way back home. The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of town, which was important for us, as we were going on day trips from there. The hotel is easy to get to and offers ample of parking spaces. The building itself is rather old and has a very special atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely spacious but cozy at the same time and most beautifully equipped. You will not miss anything there! Most important for us was the pet-friendlyness , which is not too common in Spain. El Toro was outstanding, having a fenced little playground for dogs and preparing our room with a bed for our dog, bowls, directions for beautiful walks and dog-treats. We did not have breakfast, but we did enjoyed the bar they have, which is a very relaxing space in the evening, offering you delicious wines from the region. The staff is highly attentive and caring and does all to make sure, that your stay is a memorable one. On departure they even provide you with a little doggy-bag, containing water and an apple- we loved it. We would definitely stay there again and did highly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for the beautiful time at El Toro.

Eine tolle Überraschung!
Och war beruflich unterwegs und brauchte ein Hotel direkt an der Straße mit kostenlosen Parkplatz, WiFi und in der Nähe von Pamplona. Ich hatte keine großen Erwartungen und war sehr überrascht, als dieses Hotel betreten habe. Das Haus sírvale seine vier Sterne wert: altes Gebäude von 400 Jahren ist gut in Szene gesetzt, das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Personal ist einfach Klasse! Gerne wieder

Eine Nacht vor den Toren Pamplonas
Hotel vor den Toren Pamplonas, man muss allerdings ca 15min mit dem Auto in dei Stadt rechnen und dort gibt es aber genug Parkhäuser, für uns mit VW Bus und Rändern hinten drauf allerdings schwieriger, weil wir damit in kein Parkahuas passten. Zimmer war ok, hatten aber bei der Zuteilung Pech, unser Fenster ging direkt auf den Parkplatz de Hotelvorplatzes. Dadurch war morgens durch die abfahrenden Autos es relativ laut. Zimmer sind auch sonst sehr hellhörig, man hört jede Dusche und Lachen. Da hatten wir besonders Pech da die Bewohner über uns nächtens zw 24:00 und 0:45 irgendwie Möbelrücken gespielt haben. Ich musste sogar zur Rezeption, ein Ausweichzimmer war leider nicht zu haben. Ansonsten war es völlig ok. Sauna war wegen Covid leider geschlossen und Wirlpool war mit 2 Leuten schon voll, da will man sich in diesen Zeiten nicht dazusetzen.

Prima Alternative, wenn Innenstadt ausgebucht
Schönes Hotel, etwas außerhalb Pamplonas. Man braucht ein Auto, um hinzukommen. Netter Empfang. Zimmer war schön, man hörte bei offenem Fenster allerdings die Straße. Frühstück ist gut, das Abendessen zu teuer (es gab nur Menü), Service an diesem Abend sehr langsam, was lt. Hotel damit zu tun hatte, dass sie nicht so viele Gästen erwartet hatten.

Lovelly property very pet friendly, better now they have a seperate indoor dining area where you can take pets. It was a little expensive but they had an event on, our return trip is alot more reasonable.

exceptional stay -lovely welcome - great staff
this place is so so so good - the welcome is warm and super helpful we had a dog - they could not have been more welcoming - a dog bed provided for us - bowls - snacks and dog treats a designated safe dog area outside the rooms were nice - adequate - comfortable the food in the restaurant - dinner was SO nice the best fish (Hake) and my husbands steak - both delicious breakfast not totally overwhelming but good enough the overwhelming feeling was how WELCOME they made us feel - it was exceptionally nice to be there!!! I would rush back when we are next in Spain - staff - exceptional

Nuestro favorito
Hemos viajado por primera vez con nuestro jack russell adoptado hace pocos meses. No conociamos bien el funcionamiento "pet friendly" y como siempre los trabajadores un encanto, nos explicaron todo. Finalmente no tomamos el servicio porque debiamos estar ausentes para cenar y no podiamos tener al peque en la cena, ni quedarse solito en la habitación. A tomar en cuenta si vienes con mascotas. Si no, como siempre, un personal estupendo y habitaciones muy cómodas.

Vi mottogs av receptionen på bästa sätt och uppgraderades till en svit. Vår hund fick bädd och godis i sviten. Bra parkering som känns säker. Promenadvägar från hotellet. Hela personalen är serviceinriktad och vill lösa problem. Frukost av hög klass. Vi kommer tillbaka.

The hotel stay overall was a good one. The room, staff, cleanliness, bar, food/breakfast and outside seating area were all very good. Pamplona isn't easy to get into unless you have a car. As an older property the rooms soundproofing isn't great.

A beautiful quiet property with lots of charm. Dinner on the terrace was very nice but the buffet breakfast was not very good. We paid more for it than at any other hotel on our trip but the selection was much smaller. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A one night stop off en route home to UK. We had hoped to walk into Pamplona and explore but it was further than we realised and a bit too hot for our dog. Lovely hotel, obviously a popular wedding venue. Good parking and nice food for supper. Bar/cafe service during the afternoon was slow/hard to find a member of bar staff.

The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage yourself. Personnel sometimes forgets to bill you for certain things, so budget for extra waiting time at check-out. The cost of spa is not included in the price of stay (even if you are staying in a suite), so you will need to pay extra to use it. Breakfast is very poor in terms of choice and quality.

Hotel muy lindo pero les falta personal. Tienen poco staff que es muy amable pero insuficiente para ofrecer una atenciom adecuada sobretodo en el restaurante

The property is in the middle of nowhere. When we checked in we have not been explained anything about facilities and we didn’t use them. We didn’t know about the sauna until check out
