„French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. „Friendly hosts, Margaret and Rob, cooked up a great breakfast both mornings of our stay and provided good ideas for local dining and sightseeing. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park.“

„Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah zum Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind jedoch nicht in der Nähe. Fürs Abendessen sind wir nach Whakatane rübergefahren, dort ist deutlich mehr los als in Ohope. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und interessiert. Bei der von uns gewählten Unterkunft im Haus schläft man offenbar im kleinen Zimmer der ausgezogenen Tochter. Man hat eine kleine eigene Toilette gegenüber, teilt sich aber die Dusche mit den Gastgebern. Wenn man Wert auf Privatsphäre legt, ist diese ...
