Hervorragendes Stadthotel
Das LFisher ist ein hervorragendes Hotel in Bacolod. Läßt nur wenig Wünsche offen. Schöne Zimmer, tolles Frühstück (ua. Corned Beef, Bacon, schöne & reiche Salatauswahl - gutes und gesundes Essen), wunderschöner Pool mit Restaurant am Chalet Rooftop (Pizza sehr zu empfehlen); Getränke zB MangoShake etwas teuer, sonst aber sehr adäquate Preise; tolle Pizza Hawai für 250 PhPesos. Zimmer voll in Ordnung; nur die Lacson-Straßenseite ist etwas laut (trotz nicht schlecht isiolierter Fenster). Check-in und -out problemos. Komme immer wieder gern hierher. Dass das Inventar nicht nagelneu ist, stört m.E. überhaupt nicht. Die Atmosphere stimmt, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist voll in Ordnung. Auch das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen (ich habe mir einen gegrillten Lachs kommen lassen - super zubereitet. Auch wenn eines Tages das SedaHotel eröffnet, werde ich bei LFisher bleiben. Vom Pool aus hat man einen tollen Blick; Sonnenuntergang wundebar. Das Personal ist hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Internet nicht superschnell, aber voll ok. Den Transfer zum Flughafen habe ich selber organisiert, weil das Hotel dafür 500.- PhPs pro Nase wollte. Das Hotel ist personell gut ausgestattet. Im Vergleich zu vor 5 Jahren ist es noch besser geworden, v.a. im Blick auf das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet. Alles in allem rundum gut. Wem das Essen hier nicht genügt: In der Nähe gibt's gute Restaurants (seafood), zB das PalaPala (5 Gehmin. entfernt).

A Very Pleasant Stay in Bacolod City
It was a very nice room and was clean. The shower glass was streaky, but everything was otherwise excellent. We had a suite, so it was very roomy. The buffet breakfast had everything you could want, including eggs and omelets to order. Parking is in a guarded lot on the next block behind the hotel, so we weren't concerned about vandals. The front desk staff was attentive at check-in and check-out, but a request was forgotten (or ignored) in at least one instance. This is a great hotel by Philippine standards and we would stay again. (This was our second visit.)

May not be an option anymore
This used to be "the" hotel for many reasons (rooftop pool and nice restaurant at the Chalet, nice lobby dining area, nice lobby with live piano, pretty lobby centerpiece, etc.). This may not be an option for our next visit: rooftop pool has become like a park pool (more for kids, so probably more for family-with-kids trips), the lobby no longer has its former comfy elegant appeal (in fact the lobby consisted only of one corner by the elevator with a couple of seats and a table), the room looks dark and old (with awkward fixtures and old rug/furniture, although described as renovated). The front desk/concierge has to be among the most unwelcoming and unprofessional I have met in my travels (one guy prioritized a call that was clearly "chummy" and not business over dealing with two or three people in line for service, while one female concierge acted irritated being asked about details, etc.). Parking problematic, and the hotel is along one of the worst traffic lanes of Bacolod. The only positive is the staff at the restaurant (both at the main lobby and at the rooftop)-- they are so welcoming and efficient, did their best during busy hours when clearly understaffed (extra kudos to the pizza guy and the late night waitstaff)!; as well as the front door guards and porters (very helpful and professional!).

The L'Fisher Hotel is a great place to stay. Unfortunately they need to do some renovations as it is starting to show its age. Also, the service in the pool restaurant is very slow. But we love the pool deck as it has a great view and seating in the shade. The rooms are very nice and the service in the hotel is very good. We would stay there again.

We always stay at L Fisher whenever we go to Bacolod. The service at the Front Desk is always excellent. Special mention to Jacel, Clint, and Gregg of the Concierge. Bebsie of the Chalet poolside is an asset to the hotel. Always have that smile all the time. The spa/massage at the Chalet/pool area is amazing. The 1st thing we booked after checking in. Although the hotel is still great, it does need renovation on certain area’s especially the poolside. It is really now showing wear and tear. The pool tiles as well the pool side toilets need upgrading. The newly renovated rooms unfortunately needs renovating again. We will still stay at L Fisher again on our next trip to Bacolod in the future. It will always be our favourite hotel. Hopefully there will be some upgrades on the hotel area & some of the rooms next time we come back. That would be great to see. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We always stay in L Fisher hotel whenever we visit Bacolod city. We have tried other hotels but it does not have the ambience of what a proper hotel should be. There is no personality anymore. Although we have 5 rooms booked on newly renovated rooms, the bathrooms does need updating already. It would be great also if staff takes the time to pick up litters by the swimming pool whenever they are passing by that some guest has maybe accidentally dropped on the floor. As always service is amazing! Special mention to Jacel & Clint at the front desk. Greg of the concierge, Rence of the Bell Service, Bebsie & Marlo of the bar/restaurant. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one!

We arrived early from the checked in tine and they were generous enough to accommodate us in a fresh clean room where my expectations was met. The property is conveniently located. Shopping and recreational destinations are accessible either by walking or by public transportation. Other dining options are within walking distance although buffet breakfast selections provided by the hotel are more than enough for a sumptuous brunch. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
