„The location is nice and truly peaceful. Regarding the property we had a few issues. Firstly, we booked Unit 7b which looked nice, but were given the key box code for 7a. 7a was decidedly a lesser quality property. It was smaller and tired-looking (I understand a new owner is currently upgrading - neighbours told me). The floors coul and should have been cleaner. The TV was out of order The property was advertised as having internet access, but that was not the case. The neighbours said there is ...

„Great place. Lovely decor. We made full use of the induction cooker and hammock. Only minutes to the beach and bus. Tee was great to communicate with. Looking forward to staying again“

„Perfect hideaway only 40 min away from home. Pam is such a friendly down to earth owner, the Chalets are just beautiful and the tranquillity of the surroundings just put you into de-stressing mode as soon as you get there. I aim for GREEN TREE CHALET to become a regular getaway.“

Outdoor and indoor fires were stocked with wood ready to relax and enjoy with the bottle of wine provided :) A very minor suggestion would be to have a bedside lamp rather than relying on main lights, and a cheese knife would be fab! The indoor log fire and outdoor firepit were ready to go and kept us very comfortable during the cool nights. „We had a lovely stay. It was everything we expected and more. Loved waking up to the sound of kookaburras and enjoying a cuppa next to the lake. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage.“

„We had 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time. Most of the group was skiing but some stayed home to enjoy dinner plain walks and relaxing at the house. The place was well stocked, the linen and towels were clean with a lot of extra blankets if cold. We cooked every day and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc Very responsive with queries. “

„Great experience from check in to check out. Excellent communication from the host. Very comfortably place with plenty of room for a family with 3 adults and 4 kids. With heaters in all the rooms it was very warm. Its located at the bottom of the mountain within easy walking distance to friday flat or Valley terminal and a bus stop right out the front if you want to take the bus. Just note there isnt a laundry so make sure you have enough clothing to last the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ...

Walking ability to the village with cafe, shops pub and supermarket as well as the bus to Mt Hotham. "The service was exceptional even for a 5 star hotel and Australia which both are generally on a high level. The views (especially from the upper floors) are breathtaking. There are so many things I couldn't take advantage of because I stayed too short. Next time, that mistake needs to be fixed by my planning. There are a few hotels that are closer to Circular Quay (Oh.. spelling in English...my appologies for any/many mistakes) and parking is the most expensive in Sydney (at least I did not see any higher rates and they are only until 3 pm no matter when you arrive) but other than that this place is paradise and top of my list."
