Schönes Hotel mit Problem bei der Heizung
Schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Etwas schierig war die Wärme im Zimmer. Der Raum war eiskalt. Dann gab es einen Heizer, heue war es aber wieder aus. Das Frühstück ist gut, insgesamt zu empfehlen für Menschen denen Kälte nichts ausmacht.

Nice hotel located in the center of Flam. Service was very good. The dinner buffet was ok and pricey for what was included. Everything else was very good.

Beautiful little town until the cruise ships come in, but after they leave, it is quite lovely. Good amount of shopping and restaurants but not much. Seems like plenty to do around the area with biking, hiking and kayaking.

Flåm was incredible, and staying at Fretheim was lovely. It was clean, we slept so soundly, the breakfast was delicious, and the views were spectacular. We cannot wait to return someday! If you go and are able to do the Brekkefossen Raokjen trail, it is approximately 45 flights of stairs, but the view is well worth it! Highly recommend staying here, and experiencing this magical place.

Was a beautiful hotel. Lovely room and location. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great, nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend if going to Flam.

A beautiful place! We arrived by ferry and walked to the hotel. Its natural beauty is amazing. It was before the height of the tourist season, so it was not crowded.

The hotel is historic and beautiful but the room looks a little old. The staff is super nice and breakfast is delicious. I now they are renovating parts of the hotel so it will be 5 stars when renovation is complete. Very convenient for staying in Flam l.

Had a great stay at the Freithem for one night. The room was very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed sneaking up to the lookout and appreciated that they had non alcoholic beer on the dinner menu. (Also LOVE the Fjellheim soap! I'm hooked on the scent.) Looking forward to an opportunity to enjoy this space in the Summer!

It was unique that we had control over the temperature in our room; this was the only hotel we stayed at that had this option and it made for a more comfortable sleep. The bed was comfy. The dinner and breakfast buffets were excellent. The decor was interesting and made it fun to explore and walk through the entire hotel admiring it. I’m glad I chose the historic room option. It made it more fun and I enjoyed the tub for a bubble bath.
