Well initially we arrived on time. We were told check in would be at 2. We checked in and gave a $100 security deposit. When we tried to get in we were told by a maid (she was very nice)
that the room hadnât been finished. We headed to the front office to ensure we had the correct room/if we could switch rooms and were told to wait. After about 15 minutes of waiting outside the office (the clerk locked the lobby/office door) we were told we couldnât get a new room. Our room still wasnât done being cleaned. We then had to wait in the car for an additional 20 minutes after driving 8 hours to this hotel. Finally the front desk called to let us know our room was finished. When we tried to get into our room, the keycard didnât work. The front desk had to come let us in and give us a new card. After entering the room we saw the bathroom window was broken and would not latch, the tv was broken with a line down the center, and the door to the room didnât properly close without pulling extremely hard and locking the deadbolt. Overall I would rate this stay a 2/10 as the maid was sweet, cleaned well with what she had to work with, and we had a safe place to sleep.
