1. On arrival, all of the key card printers were being replaced at the same time--all of them--so we had to wait for them to get their systems back online... at 5am.
2. They never bothered to send our luggage to the room, as a bell service should. We had to call down and wait, even though we notified the hotel that we were on the property and would be checking in soon.
3. Constant noise. Thumping, like a wrestling match upstairs. Pkus kids that run up and down the hallways. Plus the connecting room has no noise cancellation, so we heard the neighbors using the bathroom during the night, and all of their morning conversations through the echo-ey bathroom.
4. General poor condition. Wood furniture is scratched/marred/chipped. The bathroom wasn't cleaned as well as you'd expect from a $600/night room. It felt a little grubby.
5. A lot of staff that don't say hello, or make eye contact, or anything. They just hustle around, unfriendly, and very unDisney.
6. So much construction that, as a person with a cane, it was exhausting trying to follow the detours they laid out. By the sexond morning, I was just cutting through the construction zone because the only other way around was over a hill I couldn't climb very well. Poor construction routing. Oh, and rhey start hammering metal at 6:45 or so.
7. Speaking of noise, the 5am wake up call from the sidewalk sweeping machine was irritating as all get out.
Overall, it was just terrible.
