Das Hotel mit einzigartiger Lage und schönen Zimmern kann man nur weiterempfehlen.Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatten das Restaurant zu einem bestimmten Anlass gebucht. Alles, was auf den Tisch kam, war eine einzige Katastrophe.Anstelle von Lamm-Carree kamen 2 winzige Lammkotelettes pro Teller, Risotto mit Gambas ungenießbar und all das zu sehr hohen Preisen.Wahrschein- lich kochte an diesem Abend ein Azubi......Der Oberkellner reduzierte die Rechnung um €92 von sich heraus auf immer noch 329,60.

Nice hotel with a wonderful garden. we stayed there many times because of the garden, the parking, the pool and the lovely food. but we won't stay there anymore when visiting aix since we have NEVER received a really nice room. the rooms are renovated but not in a very nice provence style.

Romantisches Hotel, nahe Zentrum.
1.) Das Hotel ist sehr schön, sauber, sehr bequeme Betten, Leselampen fehlen leider.Zur Straßenseite hin leider laut. 2.) Der Weg nach Aix Zentrum sind doch 20-30min, und sehr dunkle Ausfallstraße, nicht beleuchtet abends. 3.) Das Essen ist zu teuer, das Abendessen typisch französich, wenig und teuer,und der Serivice schwierig.

Fantastischer Garten
Ein hervorragendes Hotel, welches v.a. mit den wunderbaren und grossen Garten sowie dem freundlichen und unaufdringlichen Service überzeugt. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, aber zu Fuss ist die Altstadt in 15 Minuten erreicht. Schöner und geheitzter Pool. Das nächste Mal in Aix-en-Provence: NUR in diesem Hotel.

Schöner Garten mit altbackenem Hotel
Das Hotel selbst war ziemlich alt und die Zimmer entsprechend. Haben zwei Nächte dort verbracht jedoch kaum die Infrastruktur des Hotels genutzt. Pool war sehr voll und Liegen waren knapp. Dafür alles wunderschön im Garten. Restaurant sah nett aus von aussen, probiert haben wir's jedoch nicht, da es nicht ganz unseren Vorlieben entsprach, was jedoch mehr mit unserem Geschmack als mit der Qualität des Restaurants. Alles in allem ein nettes Hotel, das den Preis nicht ganz wert ist aus unserer Sicht. Vor allem die Zimmer entsprechen weder von der Grösse noch von der Ausstattung her dem erwarteten Standart. Ein Hotel mit 4 oder 5 Sternen ohne Save auf dem Zimmer scheint irgendwie aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Wäre da nicht der Hotel-Garten, würde das Urteil wohl noch kritischer ausfallen.

Das Hotel besticht durch seinen wunderschönen, großzügig angelegten Garten, schöner Pool mit bequemen,immer ausreichenden Liegen und frischen Handtüchern.Idyllisches Frühstück auf der Terrasse zu genießen mit ausreichender Auswahl . Zuvorkommendes freundliches Personal, das auch gut Englisch spricht. Das Zentrum von Aix in 15 Min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einziges Minus das Badezimmer, das sicher nicht einem Topstandard entspricht, aber immer frische Handtücher, manchmal auch 2x tgl. Wir würden das Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

Schöner Garten!
Der Garten des Hotels ist wunderschön, auch die Ruhe für ein Stadthotel ist bemerkenswert. Ins Zentrum der Stadt dauert es nur ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuss. Sehr ansprechendes Frühstücksbuffet! Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber sehr hochwertig. Der Aussenpool war leider nicht in Betrieb. Die untersteste Zimmerkategorie ist für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel dürftig (sehr klein).

Hotel Pigonnet- traumhaft!
Zu Fuss ist man vom Hotel aus in ca. 12-15 min in Aix-en-Provence, wo es zahlreiche und gute Restaurants gibt. Das Hotel hat nur 49 klimatis. Zimmer und ist sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück für 21 Euro/Person kann man sowohl drinnen als auch in den Gartenanlagen geniessen. Die Hotelanlage, der Park und der Swimmingpool sind traumhaft, allerdings sind die Zimmer etwas klein. Unser Zimmer "superior" hatte etwa 25 m*m. Internet auch auf den Zimmern möglich. Einziger Nachteil: Die etwas zu kleinen Zimmer (und doch recht teuer!), etwas außerhalb von Aix en provence gelegen, aber dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Rezeption versteht auch englisch.

Heaven!
Spent a couple of nights here after a Rhône cruise. We were unlucky with the weather which was over C 40 and had to spend 11am to 6pm in the air conditioning. However breakfast and dinner on the glorious shady terrace with view of the garden and Mt St Victoire was heaven. Staff charming, beautiful buffet breakfast (with freshly squeezed orange juice), eggs cooked order, fruit etc. Dinner is more of a fine dining experience but with relaxed friendly service and the best sea bass I’ve ever had. Prices aren’t cheap but not silly either and worth every penny. We will be back but in a different season so we can fully enjoy the garden, our enormous private terrace and swimming pool.

Gorgeous premises but far from old town.
Hotel s very nice with a beautiful grounds, but pretty far away from old town, basically 25-30 min walk through residential neighborhood with nothing to see around. Our check in was excellent, but room had plugged sink, poor working toilet and not working charge outlet. We called for service, and same person who valley pur car tried to fix our sink. He really tried, but it didn’t work. Breakfast was ok with very mediocre service, no one knew what are they doing and who is serving who. We had to wait for a long time for coffee and our eggs. But food was very nice even with pretty limited options for 5 stars hotel.

If you’re visiting in Aix, this is the place to stay! While a bit out of the town center so a small hassle to get to, the property itself makes it worth while. A little garden oasis brings you to paradise in Provence. The property is nice and quiet. However, the hotel is way overpriced .. not what we typically reserve/or what we would consider a five star hotel. Our room faced the picturesque gardens, which is the beauty of the property. The room was nice and clean - We stayed 3 nights.

This property is a gem. In our travels around the Southern France, it was an oasis of quiet and calm and luxury. The gardens are beautiful, the rooms so comfortable. The staff, from front desk to all dining were absolutely wonderful; a rare combination of warm and very efficient. It was old world hospitality and we felt wonderfully pampered.
