„Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the water. The only issue with the room that I didn’t consider was the noise from the traffic . Otherwise everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay and the employee that helped us accommodated us with an upgrade . We will be back! “

„The entire experience at the Whaleback Inn was like stepping into a small town romance novel. Every cabin was cozy and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. There was a great community area and ample outdoor seating on the porch, property, and pier that gave the best views. We absolutely loved our time there and will be booking again soon!“

Also, keep in mind when you look at my review, I knew before-hand that there was no central air and that we shared (2) bathrooms with others on our floor (3rd floor). Our stay was during August that had 90+ degree days. We had a window air conditioner and a fan in our room that was more than adequate to cool our room in a short amount of time. „This property is super clean, spacious and ideal for small groups or families. The kitchen is super well stocked and has everything you'd need to prepare meals or snacks. The beds are all comfortable including the sofa bed. The A/C is excellent given they are all window units. We enjoyed our stay and made it easily back and forth from the dunes, Glen Arbor and Traverse City. If you're having a tough time finding a place in either of those cities and several others, this is an ideal option!“

„this is not for faint of heart, there is 2 floors and 2 long stairways to get to them,is hard for anyone with heart disease or shortness of breathe to go up and down for any long period of time.
