My only complaint is that our hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. Every room has a balcony or patio. You could tell people were on the balconies smoking. Our room didn't smell or anything like that so a very minor issue. “

„Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. “

„Lovely decorated motel. Room was well kept. Very close to Lake Michigan and Torch Lake. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Keep in mind there is no breakfast offered; there is coffee and snacks, although there is a cafe right across the street.
