„Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices.
The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us.
All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border.
Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign

„I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing.
What really put me off, though, was the general atmosphere. Some of the other guests seemed… off. A few were lingering in the hallways at ...
„Ficamos três dias e ocorreu tudo bem e tranquilo, o hotel é grande, espaçoso e está muito bem localizado dentro das muralhas de Almeida, com fácil acesso e muitas vagas para estacionar o veículo em frente ao hotel.
A vista também valoriza o local.
O melhor mesmo é o atendimento do Luís que nos recepcionou com total atenção, cuidado e gentileza.
A limpeza e o cheiro perfumado por todo hotel é bem agradável.

Das schlafen war so gar nicht angenehm.
Pool war toll und Frühstück ebenfalls.

„Altes Herrenhaus direkt bei der Kirche mit Originaleinrichtung. Die Möbel sind von vor ca. 100 Jahren. Das Bad hingegen ist auf renoviert und auf modernem Standard.
Sehr nette Gastgeberinnen und ein super Frühstück.
Die Anfahrt durch die kleinen Gässchen braucht ein paar gute Nerven. Ansonsten ein paar Meter weiter weg parken. Restaurants innerhalb von 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.“
„This is an idyllic and peaceful place, with a beautiful and charming property. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by constant door slamming, which I could hear from my room throughout my entire stay. Even with earplugs, I struggled to get a peaceful night's sleep. It’s truly a shame, as the location is perfect for relaxation, and everything else was wonderful.“
