„Definitely consider a stay at the Flat Iron when in Asheville. The historic charm comes through the modern updates with thoughtful design. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a surprise beverage upon check-in. The bed is very comfortable and the shower water pressure is strong (bonus!). Location is walkable to several dining and beverage options, yet the blackout shades provided an environment for a restful sleep. Several thoughtful touches make this a memorable hotel. Das Hotel ist neu und entsprechend sauber, hat riesige schöne Zimmer mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Eine Seite des Zimmers ist komplett verglast. „The hotel is located right in the heart of the city and we were able to walk to all places. Asheville is a beautiful town filled with local businesses. Biltmore Estate is only a 5 minutes car ride. The car park next to the hotel was 20,-$ per day which is a good price for the location. Everybody at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

„Tolles Hotel, sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Fühlt sich gar nicht nach Hotel an, sondern nach eigener Wohnung.
Beim nächsten Mal werde ich allerdings nach einem Zimmer im 3rd floor (oberstes Stockwerk)fragen. Dadurch dass es sich um einen Altbau handelt ist die Trittschalldämmung nicht besonders gut.“

„This hotel was booked as part of a last minute travel change. We chose it due to location and the look of the hotel. We absolutely loved the whole vibe, the staff and the valet. The hotel decor is beautiful and cozy. We were able to walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville in the future. “

"Das Positive:
Es gab genügend Parkplätze. Check-in und -out waren sehr einfach. Es gab Einwegbehälter, in die man die Speisen vom Frühstücksbuffet einpacken und mitnehmen konnte.
Das Negative:
Das Hotel war nicht sehr sauber. Die Teppiche waren fleckig und eklig. Es roch im Hotel wie in einer Turnhalle und der Gestank von verschwitzten Socken hat einen beim Betreten der Suite fast umgehauen. Die Möbel waren sehr abgenutzt und gebraucht. Der Duschvorhang war nicht lang genug, um das Wasser davon abzuhalten, den Badezimmerboden zu überfluten. Die Lüftungsanlage verursachte einen fürchterlichen Luftzug, besonders am Bett. Die Steckdosen neben dem Bett funktionierten nicht. Das Frühstück bestand nur aus Kohlenhydraten und null Eiweiß, mit nur einer glutenfreien Option. Es waren auch keine Milchalternativen verfügbar. Am ersten Morgen unseres Aufenthalts gab es insgesamt 3 Beutel Schwarztee zur Auswahl, am zweiten Tag gar keinen mehr.
Insgesamt war es eine enttäuschende, mittelmäßige Erfahrung."
