Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es war super schön, sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer. Es hatte immer genügend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme am Strand und auch am Pool. Personal am Empfang und im Buffetrestaurant waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ab der Bar am Pool waren sie nicht so sehr freundlich, eher gestresst. Das Essen am Buffet war sehr gut und es wurde immer sofort aufgefüllt und sauber gemacht. Es gab nur einen Lift in die 15. Etage und da musste man manchmal recht lange warten, vorallem am Morgen und am Abend. Aber im Urlaub hat man es ja nicht eilig:-). Und hat der Aufenthalt super gut gefallen, wir würden wiederkommen.

The Cove at Atlantis is simply breathtaking. The lobby is stunning, and the entire resort is incredibly beautiful. The property is enormous, and you can find just about everything you could possibly want without ever leaving the resort. From amazing aquariums and dolphin experiences to pools, water slides, a lazy river, a casino, bars, clubs, restaurants, and even a movie theater – there is something for everyone. The pool selection is fantastic, and the water park is an absolute highlight. There are so many different attractions that it’s impossible to get bored. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Their service truly added to the overall experience. The location is good, although the resort is situated on Paradise Island, so you’ll need a taxi if you want to visit downtown Nassau. Since the resort is somewhat isolated, food and drinks are very expensive, and there is no all-inclusive option. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when planning your stay. Overall, this is one of the most impressive resorts I’ve ever visited. Despite the high prices, I would happily stay at The Cove at Atlantis again without hesitation. It was an unforgettable experience.

Das Hotel "British Colonial" ist nicht zu empfehlen. Einmal ist das gesamte Personal extrem unfreundlich. Dazu kommt die "nicht Hilfsbereitschaft" von morgens bis abends. Man wird nicht einmal angesehen beim Vorbeigehen, geschweige denn nett angesprochen. Es gibt keinerlei Extras im Eingangsbereich, Auf den Fluren oder im Zimmer. Selbst die Ice Maschinen waren alle defekt und wurden auch nicht aus Geldmangel repariert. Das Frühstück kostet 50 Dollar pro Person und ist zum Teil nur genießbar. Das gesamte Hotel hat keine Balkone an den Einheiten. Das Hotel bietet keinen Shuttle zum oder vom Flugplatz. Die Bar an dem Poolbereich ist extrem teuer, ein kleiner Drink (Plastikbecher) mit Hälfte Eiswürfel kostet 15 Dollar... Das Zimmerpersonal kann einem schon einmal 2 Tage vergessen zu säubern, das ist an der Tagesordnung. Die Wände sind extrem hellhörig, man hört den Nachbarn in der Nase bohren. Gesamt gesehen für alle Altersstufen nicht zu empfehlen.

Die familiäre Hotel-Anlage ist individuell gestaltet und hat eine tolle Terrasse (Bar/Restaurant) mit Blick auf den Ozean. Auch der Garten mit kleinem Pool inklusive Wasserfall ist sehr idyllisch. Ruhige Lage; man kann zu Fuß zum Strand laufen. Das Restaurant mit indischer Küche ist empfehlenswert.
