„Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen abseits, ist aber trotzdem gut erreichbar. Wer keine Lust auf Busfahrten hat, sollte das bedenken. Das Frühstück war eher mager und ohne große Abwechslung – ist das in Italien generell üblich? Wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht aufs Meer, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Leider hatten wir für drei Tage kein Internet im Zimmer, und es wurde sich nicht wirklich darum gekümmert, was etwas frustrierend war.“

„This was honestly the best hotel I have ever been to. the location was great, the restaurant was amazing, the service was outstanding. We were there on our honeymoon and everything was perfect. I can definitely recommend this hotel to everybody who is looking for a holiday on the Amalfi coast. they have even organized a vespa rental for us and the vespa was already waiting for us when we arrived, the whole organization was super easy - thank you! “

„We checked in and got a room that had a bed that felt like a wood board. Asked for a new room, issue was pretty much the same and we went to reception the next day to cancel and the receptionist started talking loud and did not stop or listen. She kept saying „what do you expect fir the price you paid“. After a short argument she upgraded us to a better, their best room. Which was basic at best. I have no idea how this is a 4 star hotel. "We stayed at the Royal Continental Hotel in Naples for the second time, and this time we even brought friends with us because we wanted them to experience this wonderful mid-century icon for themselves. The location directly on the seafront is simply fantastic, with beautiful views across the Bay of Naples. The hotel still has a very special sense of elegance and glamour that evokes the golden age of La Dolce Vita. For anyone who appreciates mid-century architecture and design, it is a place with real character. A particular highlight is the iconic rooftop pool designed by Gio Ponti - truly unique and one of the reasons this hotel feels so special. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. Another highlight is the breakfast room, with its wonderful panoramic view of the sea. Starting the day with that view is a real pleasure. Our only small suggestion would concern the vegan breakfast options. As vegans, we would have appreciated a slightly wider selection, especially things such as vegan croissants or other vegan pastries. It is only a small detail, but it would have made an already wonderful stay even better. Overall, we once again had a fantastic experience at the Royal Continental. Its location, architecture, atmosphere and unique design make it a very special place in Naples - and certainly a hotel we would happily return to again."
