„Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. “

„Amazing how they were able to equip the train carriage with modern amenities while retaining the original charm. Bath was an add on unit with full fixtures but integrated with the train. Good AC and heating options and nice kitchenette. Check out the fabulous Hobbit and ferrry boat options.“
