„Very outdated & not very clean. Staff was great but there’s a lot of repairs needed in the rooms.“

„The roads were clean but dated a little. The beds were comfortable. It was very close to the interstate so that was helpful. We didn’t take time to eat breakfast. The staff was OK.“

„Average, Sheets and blankets questionable on clean.“

„Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and matched the description. I didn’t notice any noise during my stay, which made for a restful experience. The furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is still in good condition and fully functional. The room also had a slight old carpet smell, which wasn’t overwhelming but was noticeable. The bathroom was generally clean, but the shower and bathroom would benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning from time to time to ...

„Bed was uncomfortable for being a hotel. Shower pressure was very poor. Dire need of updating“

„Das Zimmer war geräumig mit Sessel und Schreibtisch. Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal... wie leider fast überall das Plastikgeschirr zum Frühstück “

„The property is in a country setting. It was quite and peaceful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We slept well and enjoyed our stay.“

„I’m so glad I stayed at this charming and historic bed & breakfast just a few blocks away from the riverfront in my favorite little old town of Hannibal. Everything was within walking distance and it felt a little like going back in time. I highly recommend the Garden House B&B for the authentic Hannibal experience!“

„The facility needs to be updated. If you're looking for a vintage feel with what looks like moldy caulk in the shower, rusty drains, a leaky shower head, thread worn bedding, and buckling laminate flooring, this is your place. I guess I can't complain for the price point, but if I would have known how bad it was I would have booked my stay elsewhere. The pool looked like it needed fresh water and to be circulated. The breakfast offerings were stomach turning to say the least. I'm thankful to ...

„Very nice room with view of the Mississippi River. In quaint part of Hannibal. Loved it.“

„Property was in perfect location for our stay. The stairs were steep, so lugging our bags was cumbersome, but that is no reflection of the host. We had inquired about an early check in, but received no response from the host on that. The little extra touches in the kitchen (snacks and breakfast items) and the restroom area (all sorts of extra travel size toiletries if we had forgotten anything) were a really nice touch. The unit was cute and very functional. Renovating that space into a ...

„House was small and not especially clean. Behind curtains and stairs were dirty. I have stayed in old homes before. This one was small and not especially welcoming. The history was interesting though. I like cats and they did not bother us. The cats seemed to be more comfortable than any guest. Our room was surrounded by bathrooms. We did not have to share the Jack and Jill bathroom but the one in the hall was as if it was ours, it was so close. The automatic light in the hall came on ...

„A great place to stay, within walking distance of historic downtown Hannibal, and easy access via car to attractions further afield. The house has a rustic exterior, and is well-appointed on the inside, with everything you'd need to self-cater. Secure entrance and great communication with the host. Off-street parking provided, with plenty of on-street parking for any additional vehicles. We had a great stay for the week.“
