Often times we were the only people in sight, and could see beautiful lake birds like Hurons and Loons. „We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Dave B.'s. The house is at the dead end of a gravel road so no one passes by. The house is well-stocked with all kinds of supplies. We availed ourselves of the fireplace and the Smart tv. Dave reminded us that there are no stores within a 20 minute drive so we were well-prepared with groceries. All of the light switches are labeled. Very helpful. We hope to come back next year, as do our dogs. They loved romping freely in the large yard and their leashed strolls ...

The only downsides are the rooms are smaller and bathroom situation for larger people is a hazard for hitting your head or bumping into things. That's the charm though as it's a true historic building and it is part of the experience.
