„My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the host's house. It was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed that as we celebrated the holiday there. It was roomy and comfortable with lots of spaces to stretch out. Our teens had fun in the basement watching tv and playing games. Our adults had fun visiting in the upstairs in the living room with the comfortable couches and around the big dining room table. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. „The Hager Hideaway is in the middle of everything and is a quiet, restorative oasis on its own. The 1830's farmhouse is absolutely charming and very cozy. We could have spent the entire weekend exploring Harrodsburg, but Bardstown is only an hour away via scenic back roads (less if via the Bluegrass Parkway), so we HAD to spend a day there.
