„While there were other mixed reviews when we decided to stay here for the night when we checked in to the room it was pretty clean but towel availability was minimal to one person the ice machine wasn't working and they blamed another hotel guest for the lack of ice however there was no ice in the morning again so I'm going to assume that the ice maker was broken and that was their way of dealing with noise. „It is a very very dirty hotel. The cleaning was even worse. When we arrived in the room there were dirty towels, trash everywhere and no warm water to shower. After complaing we got a new room but still no hot water. After 2 days we finally hat hot water but not on the kast day. I would not recommend this hotel ever “

„This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. “

„My husband and I wanted a getaway from DFW, this place was perfect! No TV/Wifi which was exactly what we needed. There is still good cell service so you’re not completely off the grid. The cabin is so clean and has everything you need. It was oddly chilly during our stay (Texas…) but we were still able to enjoy nature walks and the super friendly goats and horses. We will be bringing our 2 daughters for our next visit. “
