The room was so beautiful, lots of antique furniture and with decorations matching the style of the room. We had our own entrance, which was fancy somehow. „My husband and I stayed here after hiking in Shenandoah for the day. Beautiful property back in the woods/country. Our room had a beautiful view especially in the morning with the sunrise. „This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was everything we needed, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious. The kitchen area was the perfect size, stocked with a choice of coffees, teas and snacks. It’s perfectly located to go to the many wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area, It is an easy drive into Charlottesville. Our hostess was great, texting to check if we needed anything. I highly recommend a stay here.“

„A great place to rest our heads after a long day of hiking! The Glad Cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog, though keep in mind it is tiny! It was clean, the kitchen was modern, and the cabin itself was cozy and welcoming. We had our own fire pit and deck which was a great bonus, plus lots of space to walk our dog.“
