The balcony’s were to die for. I gave 4stars on cleanliness due to a musty basement room. This room was clean and tidy but was located in the basement with a window that has their irrigation system above it so water drips down and I’m assuming that would be the reason for the smell. „Knowing the Kettle Falls area through private friendships already, the house of Clayton is lovely and different through its building style. Kitchen and living room are open until the roof and give a special admosphere. Our children enjoyed the stay while having lots of space and play their games in private. „We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Curlew Lake. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. The beds and seating are really comfortable. The location is excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake (there is an eagle's nest directly across the lake on a little island), we kayaked with the provided kayaks and did a lot of biking on the Ferry County Rail Trail, which is adjacent to the property. „The large house is beautifully decorated and has upscale appliances. There are lots of windows and a large deck on the main floor with views of the river and mountains. Due to the long days this time of year we slept in a room in the fully furnished basement where there were shades we could close. A large group could be very comfortable here, as well as just a couple.“
