„Das Hotel hat mir super gut gefallen. Man hat gemerkt, dass das Personal auf Freundlichkeit geschult war. Das Essen war gut, zwar etwas teuer, aber gut, und das Fitness Studio hatte hoechsten Standard. Nicht zu vergessen ist natuerlich der Pool, der sehr gross ist,und in dem man auch gut seine Bahnen schwimmen kann.“

„This accommodation has a great situation close to Sepilok attractions and with very reliable shuttle service (free to Orang Utan Station and Sun Bear site). The lake and hill view cabanas are great. It has a backpacker's atmosphere (in a positive sense) with groups from schools etc staying as well. Food is very tasty and not expensive. Staff was always very helpful and kind.“

„Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Das wifi war erst Katastrophal und als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde es auf die Telekom vor Ort geschoben. Jedoch war es dann plötzlich seit diesem Abend um Welten besser ;) Das Frühstück war auch lecker, jedoch wurden leere Platten nicht nachgefüllt. Schade ist, dass die Mentalität der Menschen so über den dreck in Öffentlichkeit hinwegsieht. Das Meer wo man direkt drauf schaut ist voller Plastikmüll und keinen stört es oder keiner fühlt sich bemüßigt ...

„Sehr schönes Resort mit spitzen Zimmern! Die Bäder gehen hinten raus und sind unter freiem Himmel, das gibt die Stimmung des Dschungels super wieder! Alles sehr sauber und hübsch. Einziger Nachteil, keine Bar, und das Restaurant schließt um 21h. Es gab keine große Getränke Karte, dafür ist das Frühstück ganz ok und im Preis inbegriffen gewesen. “

„Sehr schönes ruhiges Resort, nur 10Min Fahrzeit vom Rehabilitation Center entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet und das Bett ist wunderbar bequem und groß. Das Bad geht ins Freie und bildet eine perfekte Atmosphäre für die Gegend. Einziger Punkt der etwas Planung erfordert, das Restaurant hat nur bis 21h geöffnet und bietet kein Bier oder viele andere Variationen von Getränken. Trotzdem würde ich immer wieder dort hin gehen. “

„Staff are exceptional - friendly, kind, helpful. There's nothing fancy about the place, but nothing fancy is needed, given the surroundings. I especially enjoyed my balcony with the fan. Breakfast is decent and it's only a 20 min walk to the orangutan rehab centre and 5 mins to the rainforest discovery centre.“

Instead of helping me with mine, the staff member returned to eating his sandwich. I guess that is simply the way in those countries (since I encountered this behavior towards women several times), but still I was quite annoyed...“

„For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get ...

„stay was good hotel was new overall its good. The only negative comment i had was the lights at the walkway. It was dark after you exit the lift to your room. Lights was not on except for night only. During the day it was also dark as not much sun light was entering. Other than that its all good.“

„The stay was good, because it was quite and the location is very convenient for my business trip. Foods is easy to get, supermarkets is just steps away. It has plenty of parking space after working hours. Love the small fridge which can keep my drinks cold. Some disappointment as well, I don't like the smell of the room because the window was locked for safety purpose, I would like to have some fresh air if they can do that. I don't think they vacuum the carpet because I didn't see them do ...
