„Had a small issue with the master bedroom, however the host was quick to offer solutions. Everything else was great
huge yard with dog disposal, inside had pretty much everything you need and other reviewers all commented on it. Super close to the Triple Crown hikes. If I had to nitpick? More blinds or curtains for increased privacy. Otherwise, really great property and host!“

„We had a great stay in New Castle. The house is located right of the main road but, it still felt private and secluded. The amenities outside really made this location. Great areas to relax and enjoy nature. There is an adorable coffee shop in town that serves breakfast and lunch. Roanoke is a 40 minute drive from town. I traveled with my elderly father so, we did not hike any of Jefferson National Forests. We are hoping to travel back in when it’s warmer to the joy the property and area more. “

„The cabin was very quiet, just what we came for during our sisters' weekend getaway as a meeting place between North Carolina and Ohio. It was very clean (that's important and easily critiqued for me). The photos don't do the nice cabin justice. It's new, and still has a new smell as of October 2025. And unusual for new construction, the pretty wood floors are creeky; rustic feeling but very noticable in the quiet space.Not shown/explained is one bathroom is downstairs with two bedrooms, and one ...

„Everything was exactly as depicted on the house listing. What you don’t see is the peaceful setting of this gem. The stream that runs right by the house is a little surprise of added relaxation. The only note we had was the coffee maker situation. We are traditional brewed coffee drinkers but the Keurig w/available pods was a good alternative. We were in town for the home opener of the VT football season. Easy to get to and from on a busy weekend. We will be back. “

„We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area. “

„Everything was perfect. This is a relaxing get away from the city, but it's not too far out. The firepit by the creek is wonderful and the wood stove is a delight. I didn't actually use the stove this time, afraid it would get too hot, but it is cozy with the rocking chair beside it. Enjoyed the coffee bar. I will be sure to bring more bottled water and some of my fav kpods next time. I am a coffee drinker and I did go thru some coffee with honey the host provided. Delicious. The heater in ...

„Very cute cabin with plenty of space. Off a gravel road. Really close to AT, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth, and not far from Salem for food and stuff. We stayed in late October, and it was chilly out, but the cabin was warm and cozy. Great view of the stars. “
