„Het is een heel mooi hotel maar, het moet beter ingericht worden. Het heeft hele mooie items maar zo ondoordacht ingezet. Het personeel is aardig maar lijkt geen goede leiding te hebben. Te weinig ingewerkt om in een hotel te werken met allure. Het ontbijt is summier voor zo een hotel. Ook wordt er weinig tot geen aandacht besteed aan de aankleding en netheid van het ontbijt buffet. De kamers zijn prima maar er zou wat aanpassingen aan de verlichting kunnen gedaan worden. Ook de aanvulling in ...

The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring York, with the city centre only a 10-minute walk away. „The staff were very friendly and helpful - absolutely no critique here. However, the hotel was severely understaffed: just one person for the bar, restaurant and check-in – cutting costs, I presume. The food (including breakfast) is below average and of mediocre quality. £16.90 is a ridiculous amount to pay for half-heartedly prepared potatoes with corned beef or a greasy lasagna with far too much cheese.
