The lady behind the counter was great. Facilities awful. No wastebasket, no coffee maker, no Kleenex. no clock. Wifi didn't work in room. Breakfast-one waffle maker. OJ and milk in a pitcher. Generic froot loops and bran flakes but no bowls to put them in. Bread to toast but I didn't see jelly. Staff had to figure out how the t.v. worked. Carpet had many holes from smokers.

Place felt incredibly dangerous. Was solicited by people outside. Man at check in was clearly talking about me to someone on the phone in another language while checking me in. Everything was either broken or disgustingly dirty and found roaches in bathroom. Did not stay for my own safety.

First, I mistook this hotel for another ofthe same name. We checked ok and then found the room to be marginally clean withno soap in the room. We very seldom found anyone at the front desk andourkeys kept not working. There were homeless people loitering inside and outside the building.

Disgusting. Blood on the curtains, no hardware in peephole - could stick my finger right through the door, no desk staff, no answer when you called the office, no telephone in the room. To top it off, when I asked for toilet paper I was told they didn't have any and was given a napkin by the maintenance man.

I did not spend the night after looking at the rooms. The lobby (if you could call it that ) was dirty the hallways were dirty. I felt unsafe . Waiting for a refund.

Whole place is rundown and dirty. Hallways looked like hadn't been vacuumed in ages and carpets had numerous stains. Room in better shape, except for stained shower curtain, carpets and random cockroach. Also door handle fell off. Sketchy characters in and out of building. Seemed like folks there knew each other and had been there a while. Maybe this is one of those places that accepts homeless vouchers? Woke up in the middle of the night to screaming, fighting and slamming doors. Neighbors blasting music, dogs barking. Front desk guy and cleaning lady were friendly and helpful. Would not recommend unless you want to experience what a zombie apocalypse feels like.

To say that we were unimpressed would be a colossal understatement. Upon entering the lobby, I detected a strong cigarette smoke smell, and observed large amounts of debris from paper all over the carpet. The front desk staff was unengaging and seemed unconcerned for the way they represented the hotel. The lobby was small, no problem, but the breakfast area was still dirty, at about 3:45 pm, which didn't instill a lot of confidence in the cleanliness of the hotel. As I entered the hotel room (104), it appeared that I would have to finish making the bed. It was not the king bed we'd booked and the bed spread was not on it. Did not even stay long enough to examine the bathroom, based on what I'd seen thus far. We left without alerting the front desk staff, as we began to fear for our safety. At that point, we didn't care as much about getting our money back (which probably wouldn't be an option, anyhow) as we did about just being safe. As we drove through the parking lot, and around the building to get to the street, we noticed a sizeable amount of unhoused persons, about 20 - 30 tents set up, surrounding the property. In no way, shape or form did we get what we thought we would when we booked this property. We understand that it was a seriously discounted hotel and we will now research any expedia listing much more thoroughly. Though this may not come to anything or affect change of any sort, we appreciate your consideration. Thank you

The bed was comfortable. However, it's winter and there was only a summer blanked on the bed and no extra blanket in the room. There was "crap" on the headboard (food specs no one had bothered to clean up), no toilet paper in the room when we arrived, no way to control the heat so we'd be warmer due to light weight blanket, crap on some of the walls, broken cupboard doors, no swimming pool (it's mattress storage now as is the hot tub) ... all in all, not an even passable experience. Live and learn I guess.

BAD NEWS MOTEL
The worst motel I've ever stayed in. drug deals were going on outside my room's window which included loud music, talking and laughing. bugs in my room, sheets appeared slept on, bad smell, bathroom dirty. As soon as day light hit I went to office to check out. Staff was hard to find. Finally someone responded. I checked out but was told to check with Hotels.com for reimbursement of prepaid days.Hotels.com said the 3 days I didn't stay was up to Red Lyon to pay back It took them 3 days to get a non refundable answer from Red Lyon. I chose this motel because Red Lyon had a good reputation. Not anymore........

This is a unique property. It was the most unclean and univiting motel I've ever visited. One look at the room, the unclean carpet, walls and broken fixtures, I walked out. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.I used to think the Red Lion brand meant quality and comfort, not anymore and never again in the future. Expedia should drop this lisiting like a hot potatoe.....

We got there late after traveling for several hours. The property was not well maintained, and the people in the office were very unprofessional looking. When we arrived, were were told we were contacted about their need to cancel our reservation due to a water pipe bursting, but I got not call or email from Expedia. We were told we no longer had a reservation and therefore were initially left high and dry. Luckily we were able to find a room at a much nicer hotel with more professional employees.

The Internet in the first room I had been assigned did not work, because “somebody stole the router again”, the key cards did not work on most of the locks, and I had to call the front desk person every time to get into my room, the hallway carpeting seemed to not have been vacuumed in several months, the plugs in the rooms were very loose and could not all be plugged into. The window in the first room I was in had a crack that could not be closed. The staff seemed to go ahead and clean a room only when somebody needed one. For breakfast, there was very little because some guests or homeless visitors would take all the food for themselves and leave nothing. Disposable Forks had to run out the previous day, but the front desk helper. Kindly made more waffle mix for the waffle iron, and brought some bread out for me, and there was grape, jelly and butter, although the syrup dispenser had been stolen by a guest or intruder. The room I did get assigned to get Internet, working closer to the front desk, had a sink faucet that ran perpetually, and could not be turned all the way off, and the shower was lacking a shower curtain, causing water to go everywhere on the bathroom floor. The staff were helpful and expressed a hope that they could spruce up this hotel.

It was beyond terrible
It was beyond Terrible. First room they gave us, someone else was already in there. Then, one the way to the other room, we saw 3FOOT HOLES IN THE CEILING! Exposed pipes and wires. In the room we finally ended up with, the bed felt like we were sleeping on box springs, no exaggeration! There was plenty of hot water in the shower, but no cold so couldn't take a shower without getting scalded. In the morning i found a few bugs, about the size of a dime. Not sure what they were but YUCK! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Do not stay here
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay at, and if given the option again, I would choose to sleep in my car. Cockroaches (dead and alive) in the room, dirt and hair around the sink, debris on the carpets, a mysterious brown goo dripping down the wall, no soap in the bathroom, a brown-stained toilet, and an inexplicable pair of sunglasses in the bed. The whole place smells like weed and cigarettes.

This is not a Red Lion no matter what the sign says. Our bedding, walls, and ceiling in the were stained, there was blood on the wall in the bathroom, and we had to plunge the toilet every time we used the bathroom. At check-in I had to explain 5 times i was staying 2 days, the clerk set the room key for one night so when I tried to get back into my room the next day I couldn't. In 6 years of using Expedia I've never had an experience this bad.
