„At check in staff member was kind enough to let us check in early. Room was nice and had everything we needed, smelled very fusty and damp though. Before booking, we checked food service times as we knew we would need to eat quite late, this was shown as 9pm on their website and hotel.com. we tried to order at half past 8 and were told kitchen was closed. There is nothing else around so we had to get a taxi to and from the nearest tescos for a meal deal“

„Schönes Zimmer, nettes Personal, schöne Gegend. “

„Alles sauber, sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück war sehr lecker - auch Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder :) “

„typical to the landscape, good parking, lot of stairs inside, good offer at the restaurant“

„Quiet and clean “

„What a cracking pub. What more do you want from a place to stay than have a legendary boozer right below you. The land lady was very friendly and polite, rooms were basic but clean and perfect for my needs. They do a cracking pint downstairs too. Staying again next week for work it was that good and the prices resonable.“

„Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub“

„Sauberes Zimmer, aber nicht mehr der Standard für 2026.“

„Very clean room and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Shower is a bit of a dribble and you need to bring your own soap or shower gel. No breakfast but there's options just around the corner. A great pub with lots of beers on offer from their own brewery. I'd happily go back.“
