Lichtblick in der prärie
Waren auf Ahnensuche in der Nähe von Wittenberg. Die Gegend landschaftlich hübsch ein bisschen wie Ostpreußen. Sehr einsam, nur Maisfelder und Farmen. Laut Grabsteinen auf Friedhöfen fast alles deutschstämmige. Ein Leben in der Einsamkeit um es freundlich auszudrücken, besonderes in den harten Wintern

If a manager from outside the Wisconsin culture is running the motel, he needs to realize that most Wisconsinites are Brewers and Buck fans. The Brewer game was NOT provided per the TV and in fact paying for the game was required. Such excessive cost after the room is already purchased is VERY inhospitable and frankly anti-social.

Girls weekend
We stayed here for a girls weekend, and would definitely stay here again. Great pool and hot tub! Lots of choices for breakfast each morning. Plenty of food! All the staff were wonderful especially Kristy. She went way over in making our stay fun. I have never had such great service. She is the best!

The pool areas ceiling is about to fall. They must've had some kind of leak. They told us to just play on the other side of the pool. It was pretty bad. The room smelled like weed so bad! The front desk gave me a bottle of spray to rid the smell.

Just okay
We stay at this hotel a couple of times a year when we visit our daughter nearby. The breakfast is always good. Cleanliness and service are what you would expect - nothing bad, but nothing exceptional. About half the time we stay, the pool is closed for maintenance. There are no recycling cans anywhere. While usually we find the room comfortable, this time the mattress was not comfortable nor was the chair. I think these items may be past their life even though they look fine, they are not comfortable.

This was one of the very worst customer experiences I have ever had. The staff was rude and confrontational to the point that the police where called. My daughter has a service dog and she was told he could not be with her at the pool and then again at breakfast. Very disappointed.

I stayed in room 202, the door didn't lock (I did let staff know). I could hear the incoming and outgoing traffic to the lobby. It was not too quiet. Bed was comfortable, coffee not good. No remote for TV.

Decent stay….
Tv remote had dead batteries and the satellite cable was out for the whole night. Was told satellite was out due to bad weather but it wasnt even raining…..staff was super friendly and would go back. Also the posting says microwave in EVERY room and after i asked about it, was told that NO room had a microwave in it unless it was an upgraded room.

Sort of underwhelmed by this hotel. The sheets/blankets/towels had stains on them, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy, the bathroom floor had hair all over it when we checked in and the shower drain was clogged from the first time we used it. When I went to get new towels after we got in from an event, the front desk clerk seemed annoyed (and was in his pajamas) which was uncomfortable.
