„We had a rather mixed experience at Wenns Chop & Ale House. While the location was great and the restaurant offered some great options, the room left much to be desired. The disappointment began when we entered our room. What we have booked was advertised as a deluxe apartment on Hotels.com. The pictures on the platform had promised a spacious room with a comfortable sofa and an impressive bathtub in the middle of the room, along with a view of the minster. „Yes it’s a caravan park, but the purpose built pods are amazing. Everything you would need as a home away from home. A lovely stay for two nights. Felt safe within the park. Nice and quiet if you want the tranquility. The staff were friendly and very helpful as I had a very late check-in. Staff left instructions to find the key and directions to my pod. „My family and I enjoyed our two nights at the lodge. The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are neat (though there was no toilet brush) and have got its own television. The kitchen also has a sitting area to relax, a dinning and its own television, all basic cooking utensils are available. Most importantly the gentle man in charge was reachable, responsive and respectful. If I were to visit Kings Lynn again I'll definitely lodge here.“

„Ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer und zusätzlich mit kleiner Küchenecke und einem Sofa. Zwei tolle bequeme Betten. Ein Traumhaft schöner Garten und man konnte bequem außen den Abend verbringen. Die Sitzecke ist überdacht, so dass auch leichter Regen kein Problem ist. Toller Restaurantbesuch am Abend. Sehr nette Gastgeber und ein tolles wirklich tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl im Wintergarten. Absolut empfehlenswert. “

„What a great little campsite! The Shepherds hut was beautiful with everything we needed. Just a short walk along the river to the town centre but far enough away to feel like an escape from reality. We will be back soon 😊“
