„Very helpful staff. Excellent food. Shower gel/ shampoo combo in the shower would have been appreciated!“

„The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left.“

„We had a rather mixed experience at Wenns Chop & Ale House. While the location was great and the restaurant offered some great options, the room left much to be desired. The disappointment began when we entered our room. What we have booked was advertised as a deluxe apartment on Hotels.com. „Great views and great restaurant, lots of parking and scenic river views from room and restaurant“

„The staff are very friendly here with a genuine aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are set out motel style with each room having direct access to outside the property. Overall, the rooms are basic but more importantly, clean. However, for the rate I booked was £160. This amount of money, I found it poor value. „First room hadn't been cleaned, yes the 2nd room was cold with a small heater, cold water for the shower and no Wi Fi available to help with the course that I was there for“

„Clean room. Excellent staff, kept the kitchen open for us as we arrived a bit late on a Sunday. All good.“

„Very friendly staff, clean comfortable bed overall a lovely stay“

„Quaint old coaching inn set in a medieval village. Hearty full English breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. A good place to tour Norfolk from.“

„Bit tired but staff were brilliant“
