The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round. CHILL STAY

Terrific property - Amazing view and location with great amenities. Little details like washer/dryer, humidifiers and fans for all the rooms were so great for these Texans and their kids who weren't used to CO dry air & dirty wet snow gear! Also major bonus points for a kid-safe fire place that kept us cozy without worrying about kids getting close. We loved our stay & highly recommend.

Quick Trip to Ski

This was a lovely condo. Perfect location, ski in/ski out yet not right at the base of Winter Park. Base was a 15 minute walk. Condo was well stocked....spices, olive oil, coffee filters, garbage bags, laundry detergent. Probably things left behind from other guests, but very helpful. We paid it forward, leaving more olive oil and detergent! We were there with our adult children. perfect size condo for 6 adults. I noticed the condo had a playpen. There were also humidifiers for every room. Would choose this place again.

Pros - convenient to attractions & downtown. - very tasteful furniture, just not functional. - Kitchen is very nice, stocked with what we needed, so nice to have ice & water available in fridge door. - Master bedroom comfortable & bathroom is very large. - 2nd bedroom just as comfortable as Master - hall bathroom very big & nice. - towels fluffy & soft - 3 fans available for each room for summer weather. -Had to call customer service several times & they were very nice. Cons - not sure condo was really cleaned, in the 2nd bedroom the sheets had small red stains & were very wrinkled...we applied some dawn & washed them. All good, but expectations are you'll have clean bedding. -no lamps in the living room or bunk room -sadly, if there are children above you, you're hearing every step, all the running, & jumping they make. -could not get the fireplace to work, Tim with maintenance came, really nice guy, he found remote batteries needed to be replaced & the unit was turned off. He persisted & got it running. -could never find the board games or DVD's, so bring your own...wish there were puzzles & cards available. -the bunkroom is really more a flex space, no door to close off from the rest of the condo & the mattress on lower bunk is very uncomfortable, if you're not a kid. - using hair dryer took out the power at the outlets in the bathrooms & there is no obvious reset button for electrical outlets. Later found the fix in the bunk room electrical panel.

Very mixed experience, overall poor

Pros: -Quite good unit, newly constructed, with easy access to ski hill -Perks, such as shuttle from airport (for 1) may be useful Cons: -Listing is through a management company, which partners with a tour company, who sent multiple spam type emails almost immediately -Management company requires exhaustive agreement to be signed after VRBO booking was complete ... really should not be allowed on VRBO issues after booking ... main issues surround lack to transparency in the VRBO booking -48 hr before arrival was told that we needed to send copy of photo ID or would not be let into unit ... no forewarning of this requirement, which was completely unreasonable given VRBO backed booking -hassle around basic supplies, such as paper towels (only 5 sheets on roll at arrival) ... their stated approach is to supply 1 days worth. Different from typical VRBO, and would have been good to know in advance -10am checkout time, which is too early. Request for slightly later check out was denied at 9:15a on morning of checkout - no ski locker is associated with the unit, and were told to not bring skis into building and just leave $5000k worth of ski equipment outside of building - fireplace didn't work, and day after a worker was sent to check on it, the heavy metal/glass front fell off the fireplace unit onto helmets and ski goggles, scratching a set of goggles.
